What I can do for you
As most of you might have guessed by now, I'm something of a trouble shooter . . . I find trouble and I shoot it. I move around a lot, but my mobility at any given moment has its limits. You can ask me to come and provide some back up, but I can't promise I'll be near enough to help.
On the other-hand, there are a few other things I can do. For starters I'm a licensed gun dealer and licensed gun smith. This is how I make my living. I can get most of the conventional items to you no problem, but more importantly I've been working on specialist tools for eliminating un-natural threats. If you give me a couple of weeks notice I can custom make something that might help you out. I don't do this for free, but I won't make a profit on it if I know it's going to the right hands.
Also, from my folks, I have plenty of contacts with well armed collectives of people around the continent. About one in every locality. These folks all believe that we aren't alone on the planet and are willing to do certain favours for those who've taken it upon themselves to protect innocent people from . . . well . . whatever. Most of them are kinda whacky, the rest are total nut jobs, but I can usually arrange a safe location for you to stay while you rest/recover/heal from a misadventure. The food is usually pretty good too, but I wouldn't listen too much to what they say.
So, if you can use any of my help, drop me a line.

I'm flying into Boulder in about three days. As I can't bring any firearms with me I need a few things if you can get them. I need a big bore hunting revolver with silver rounds, a sidearm preferably a Berreta but I will settle for anything 9mm. If you know any good spots in the surrounding area to whole up I'd appreciate a heads up. I got word form an associate that there have been several disappearences in that area mostly kids, but one or two adults. They've found what's left of one the adults but none of the kids. Any info or back-up will not be turned away. just let me know where the exchange will be, how much, and how you want the funds and I will get back to you.

Okay, i talked to my guy in Colarado. He'll be at the airport holding up a sign for Mr. MacDonald. Go up to him and say "E I E I O" and he'll say "We do it Ronnie's Way."
Yeah, yeah, it's lame, but he came up with it.
Anyway, he'll have your hook up for gear. He's got a nice S&W 500 for ya with the requisite shiney bullets. He don't like 9 mm (Says it's for Frenchmen and Commies) and he don't like Berreta (Says that's the worst travesty put on the American Infantryman since they replaced the Garand). But he has got a nice Para Ordnance pistol for ya. It's basically a Colt M1911A1 .45 ACP with a double stack magazine holding 14 rounds. He's got shiney bullets in that if you want them too. He understands that this is for the 'cause, so he'll let you walk away with the hold load for a set of fifty of Hamiltons. If you're just going to rent the guns, he'll give you back thirty of them.
He's also got a nice farm you can stay at, he'll just ask for a bit of help with the chores.
If you do stay at the farm do yourself a favor and steer clear of his daughter . . . unless you like 3rd degree burns in places the sun don't usually see.
Happy huntin'

Thanks for the gear...he can keep the extra 20 Andrew Jackson's I threw in...it was worth it to have a place to hole up while I healed up...I'm not sure what that thing was but it's dead now...
Nice to know where to go when you need the best bang for your buck...and I took you're advice and didn't lay a finger on the gentleman's daughter...something about the way he handled that hand cannon before he passed it over clearly reminded me of your very wise words.

This kind of talk has a ring of terrorist activity to it. You are only going to hurt yourselves or some innocent bystanders requesting weaponry in your obviously unstable condition. After a few years of my treks looking for the supernatural, I stopped carrying weaponry, as I never needed it. You know why I haven’t needed it? Because there is no such thing as Demons and Monsters people! Put down the guns and pick up the phone and call for help, you obviously need it.
