Classes in Satanism!?!?!

Post by Tabloid Hound »

whiff whiff... I smell trouble with this one gang. Yes, that is definitely the odor of trouble brewing.

Vatican university debuts classes on Satanism
Clergy to study 'black magic and exorcism' to combat devil worship

ROME - Worried about the lure of the devil, a Vatican-linked university on Thursday debuted its latest course offering: a class on Satanism, black magic and exorcism.
The class for clergy and seminarians at Rome’s Pontifical Academy “Regina Apostolorum” has arisen from alarm about Satanic practices among young people, especially in Italy.

In one case in Italy in January, eight people believed to belong to a Satanic sect were ordered to stand trial for their alleged role in three ritual killings.
One of the victims was a 19-year-old girl stabbed to death in 1998. She may have been targeted because her killers believed she was a personification of the Virgin Mary, prosecutors allege. The suspects belonged to a heavy metal band called “Beasts of Satan.”

The Vatican is also concerned about a growing number of young people who develop personal forms of Satanism, outside the sects that are closely monitored by police. They often learn about the devil through the Internet.
“It’s a more spontaneous and hidden phenomenon, a problem of loneliness and isolation, a problem of emptiness, that is fulfilled by the values of Satanism,” said one of the teachers, Carlo Climati, a specialist on youth culture and Satanism.

Legionaries of Christ
Climati said concerned parents had been asking for a special course for priests.
The pontifical academy is run by the Legionaries of Christ, a conservative order, and teachers for the class include exorcists and psychiatrists.
In 1999, the Vatican issued its first new guidelines since 1614 for driving out devils, offering cautions to exorcists about taking psychiatric problems into account.

The updated exorcism rite, first issued in Latin and contained in a red, leather-bound book, was a reflection of Pope John Paul II’s efforts to convince the skeptical that the devil is very much in the world. At the time, he gave a series of homilies denouncing the devil as a “cosmic liar and murderer.”

Among the widely accepted signs of possession by the devil are speaking in unknown tongues and demonstrating physical force beyond one’s natural capacity.

A thought his holiness realyl didn't pay attention to the real world.

It's nice that the Vatican is stepping up its efforts in this field, my problem is I think their anti-demon and anti-devil forces will be more morality police than anything worthwhile.

Hmm... my father says the same thing. I've got a feeling that he might be a nega, too. It would help explain all of those nasty headaches I get when he's around.

excuse me what did you just call me? a Nega? Is that some term you use for a person who knows and understands the truth? Just because you enjoy living in your life of delusions and hoaxes doesnt mean you have to start name calling

If that's what you "delusionals" reffer to people like Nicksmind and myself, then I stand proudly with the title of "Nega". In fact I am the hampion of the nega, just refer to me as "Negatron, king of the Nega's". We Nega's stand tall with the truth as our backbone.

Nega is short for Nega-Psychic, some one who acts like a supernatural disruptor. That's why you never see ghosts, or get haunted, and why nothing paranormal ever works when you're around. Have you ever wondered why, if "none of this is real," you keep being drawn to it?

That is the lament excuse Ive ever heard! BAR NONE! For all the freakin excuses I've ever heard, you say I'm disrupting the supernatural and that why I dont see things that you do?!?!?! My lord man! I dont see things the way you do because I'm mentally sound! I'm firmly anchored to the foundation of science, I dont see anything becuase they dont exist! I thank you for the amusing excuse though, laughter is gold.

As for the two negas, all I have to say is "Hail Negatron."

Give up trying to convense them. And actually I agree with you, religion shouldn't be taken too far. I mean, take myself for example, I believe in Heka, Auset, Ra, and Djehuti amoung others. I do try to do what's right with my knowledge and powers. And look at were it's gotten me. Stuck at some bloody airport in TX waiting for our ride. We've been waiting for 2 hours.

Some people don't exactly understand me either, so don't feel too bad chaps.

Im with debunker on this one, If I was a Supernatural disruptor I would think I would have hordes of demons after me so they didnt have to worry about me. Conclusion: DEMONS ARE NOT REAL!!!!

There is just one way to prove it...sin a lot and shoot yourself. That's the only way to convense them.

I do not believe in God or the Devil so if I was to "sin" and shoot myself then I would be dead end of story, no heaven, no hell, no reincarnation just lights out.

I agree. It's just that such arrogant small-mindedness really irritates the hell out of me.

I know that I can't say anything becuase you would just dismiss it out of hand. That doesn't stop me from trying, though.

well if you had actual evidence, then there would be no dismissing anything, evidence speaks for itself and you have none but stories and "ecxperiences"

I didn't say that. I said that I know you'll just dismiss it, so why bother?

If I had I wouldnt be here, because when you make it to death there is no going back, but go ahead and believe in life after death if you want to, obviously I cant make you stop, but I do ask that you stop trying to make it seem as though demons are hiding in back alleys and in sewers waiting to kill.

I'm serious. The nasties haev figured out that we don't like to walk into those places, so they don't try to hunt from there.

Instead they stalk in school playgrounds and singles bars.
