Papa's in the hospital. :(

Post by Nemesis »

Someone Shot Papa!

We don’t know all the details yet but he was out for a walk and got shot. There’s bruising on his fists so he went down swinging but he never even went for his weapons. We don’t know who did it and Hannah won’t let me leave the house to find out.

Mama wouldn’t let me heal him in the hospital either. Said the staff would freak out if I took one of their scalpels and started cutting myself. Besides, his life isn’t in danger and he wouldn’t want me exposing myself as a possible witch. I DON’T CARE! PAPA IS HURT!

I wanna make him better. I want to hurt the ones that did it. I wanna do something, anything!

Ron woke up this morning after a lot of surgery last night. He's fine but as difficult to deal with as his daughter.

Our hearts go out to your family at this time. But Ron being feisty is a good sign.

Cynthia's calmed down a bit. She got mad at me when we were playing chess for letting her win. Hannah and I will be dropping by with Cynthia and the twins soon.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Let me know if there's anything I can do.

Thanks for the concern folks, but as I am home and properly restored to my old self, you can get back to the usual wishing I'd just shut up.

Anyway, this one is a non-event really. I did something foolish, let principle get in the way of reason and took a bullet for it.

I want to apologize to my family for putting them through some needless stress. I also want to thank them for their love, concern and efforts to get me out of the hospital so quickly.

You never can take a Friday off, can you Ron?

I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

I actually kinda did.

But I noticed some happenings and had to step in before somebody got hurt.
