Everyone should read this and be alarmed. How long would we be able to operate if those who would regulate the internet decided to shut down this site?
The free movement of knowledge is one of the greatest oppositions to tyranny. It is not just tyrants from this world that could benefit from having a single agency regulating the internet for the whole world.
And let's not forget the underlying greed that motivates these actions. Heaven forbid that people use Skype to talk to loved ones far away without paying extra for it!

We need to make sure the internet remains free for those who know to communicate with each other and to educate those who don't know.
