Ohio Serpent Mound...do folks ever go there?
I was wondering if there are any groups who go to the last place Victor Lazlo was seen?
Like for a meet and greet or BBQ.
It might be fun.

In August 1991 the Northville Tunnels is where I had my first distict encounter with supernatural forces. My friends and I ran screaming into the night, pursued by something known to us punk ass kids as the Bloodswine. We never went back.

I've been there. It's quite the place.

A Lazlo Society BBQ would be nice...I'll bring the weenies...you bring the terrors from beyond time and space.

Which part...the weenies or the terrors from beyond time and space??
Cuz I'm very partial to sweet relish with my terrors from beyond time and space.

We Passed It By
When I was younger, my family and I passed it without stopping when we went to D.C. I didn’t even know about the supernatural, back then.

When I was I child I used to visit my maternal Grandparents in the Ohio Valley. There City, Portsmouth, had a park built on the site of an old Mound and we used to visit Serpent Mound once a summer for a weekend and stay at a nearby RV camp with my Great Aunt and Uncle.
It's been years since I visited.

Never been there.
Never been to the Serpent Mound—what’s it like?

Like a grass-covered mount of dirt, shaped somewhat like a snake.
Question everything.

I was there recently. It's a rather pretty place. Alas, it was on business and there wasn't much time to take a better look around.

Was there once on a field trip when I was still in elementary school.
Interesting place. Wish I could go back. I have tests I would like to run... see if I can't possibly figure more out about what happened to Lazlo.
I have my theories, but... Well... not a lot of data.

The major problem with archaeological sites is that the original builders, the ones who were most likely to be in the know about its intent and purpose, are long gone.
Even if we do surmise what the mounds can do through observation, trial and possible error, it doesn't exclude other uses that we have yet to figure out. That information may be lost forever. Nonetheless, it's a very fascinating place.
On a curious note, the Mound is built atop a cryptoexplosive structure - the sort usually associated with either meteor impacts or volcanic events.
