Trying to get back into the fight

Post by DarKnyht »

After spending roughly a year in trying to get myself prepared, I think I am finally ready to face what I have rediscovered. One of the biggest surprises for me was finding out that my encounters last year were not my first encounters with this kind of stuff. It appears I have spent a large part of my life trying to forget some important stuff.

To update what has been going on, I now believe that the events from last year and my past are linked together. And once more, I think that whatever it was is starting to effect the world here. I am researching now, online and offline, trying to learn more about this "thing" that seems to be twisted into my fate. If you want to know more about what I am talking about see my other post today.

Anyways, while I am still a far cry from a warrior, I have managed to deal with a few minor disturbances. I am pretty sure this one might take more than me to deal with however. I wish I could get my friends to remember and come back here. If I find anything that will be of help, I will try to post it.

Next time you're in the Chicago area, look me up, Jack. I can give you some pointers.

perhaps i can help? although old, my training has kept me fit and my religious leanings (shinto priest) may be able to shed light from an angle that has not yet been tried (i am a bit closer to home as well)
Understanding, is not a thing that comes swiftly, but rather in stages, a journey that once begun, must be seen to it's end.

Shang Li... you are knowledgable in Shinto, eh? I'd like to learn more about it, considering I'm interested in eastern culture and traditions. I also like to study religion. I myself am something of a Taoist, due to my own mental training, and I'd like to hear more about Shinto.
