New York Trip
April Fool’s . . . wow. Should have guessed. I remembered, yet I didn’t remember. So, when to start—I only have a few minutes right now. The flight to New York was uneventful . . . unless you count the flight attendant who got sick of one particular passenger (who was rather surly) and grabbed a can of beer, a parachute, and bailed out the emergency exit.
Which led to a forced layover in Nantucket; the official story is ‘technical difficulties,’ but I’m not so sure. There were numerous . . .
Anyway, my break is over in a few minutes and Hannah’s feeling a bit overwhelmed, I think. More updates as soon as I can~

Hello everyone.
Wie's ended up in the hospital. She's probably going to be okay. But we'll have to wait a while for her to explain what happened.
Hannah
PS: Doctor called it a drug overdose, but that's totally insane. Wie wouldn't ever do anything like that.

Wouldn’t You Know It—Layover
They said to start slow and to progress from there. The doctors said that, I mean. At least, I think the doctors said that. I’m still working on what’s real and what’s . . . not. I still get flashes. So, where was I?
The layover, right?
Well, let’s start again at the layover. Even if I’ve written about it 100 times. This’ll be 101.
It was pretty confusing at first; the captain shuttled us all off the plane, and nobody would believe I was blind. ‘April Fools,’ I guess. Still, I followed their voices to an open air cantina. I don’t remember if the food was any good or not; I think the insects bursting out of the rice once it was in my mouth was a part of my dream and not real. I think.
I am sure, however, that the old man was real.
Even if he did have creepy eyes and snakes for thumbs.
But maybe that part’s later.

Re: New York Trip
Creepy eyes can be surprisingly common.
So far as I know, snakes for body parts are most common amongst the Greek Medusa.
As for reality, some of my oldest memories are of my mother telling me that,

Wie,
you still haven't told us what happened when you were at the layover or why you admitted yourself into an asylum after you left New York.
You hardly write anymore and your phone always goes straight to voice-mail. We've called the asylum about you and they say you aren't seeing visitors. What's up?

There is too much left unsaid . . . .
I’ll get to this one as soon as I can, although it might dissect into another thread.

I wish I had been paying more attention to this when it was happening. Maybe something could have been done sooner.

Don’t worry about it, Darcy. I’m out of it now.

What’s done is complete, Darcy. Besides, if you had come any earlier, I might not have received these lovely new scars on my hands and wrists.

Scars on hands and wrists are... good?

Still, I'm sorry Wie.
