Well, I suppose I should introduce myself, shouldn't I.

A certain NY bound arcanist directed me here. She mentioned something about 'interesting folks'. Not interesting like that guy in Prospect Park that swallows and regurgitates live goldfish interesting, but that people here actually deal with... well, crazy stuff.

...yeah, this made a lot more sense when I was reciting it in my head.

Anyway, a bit about me. I'm from Baltimore, live in Brooklyn, and have found myself being a weekend bartender due to having a bad run of luck on the music scene. Most people here have way more experience with what you call the supernatural than I do. I am perfectly fine with that considering what I've dealt with already has scared me shitless - I'm told that's normal.

Well, that was more long winded than I was going for in regards to introductions, but there it is :)

Depends on what you mean by that. I've done crappy telemarketing work to pay bills, but I do have some experience with video and recording (more often than not lately I've been paid to edit the film from other people's shows rather than my own).

I was just asking because "Sparks" is an older military term for comms operator. Talented comms people are always in demand.

So what's your interest in the supernatural? Are you into ghosts, faeries, demons, angels, crytpozology, aliens or conspiracies? If you look hard enough, you'll find it all, right here.

Learn something new every day, I guess. Nah, Sparks is a nick I go by in most daily affairs. I never liked my actual name much.

As for my interests? Good question. Not so much aliens (probably exist) or conspiracies (everywhere), but maybe some of the other stuff. I was big into mythology back in college (yep, I have a BA - cue shock), so stuff like that is interesting to me, not to mention making for good writing material.

As for what gets me going personally? Psychic, ESP, whatever you call it. Why? Probably because it's something some of us can directly do. I suppose magic fits that category too, but that isn't my thing.

I've always had a certain respect for those with extra sensory perceptions. Simply fascinating.
