The Shurderell Manor

Post by Clarity »

_____Hi, everybody! I’m so excited today, because the Wednesday after this Wednesday we’re going to go on a field trip to the Shurderell Manor! Doesn’t that sound like fun? We’re going to have lunch there and use the special buddy system and later Mr. Mather wants me to look at a few books that Mr. Shurderell wants to donate to a museum and then talk to a man named Mr. Ages. I’m not sure why Mr. Mather wants me to do that, but I said I would, and Ethan told me to always do what I say I’ll do. He called it “keeping my word,” though I never understood where I’m supposed to keep it, or if I need to take it anywhere, or even how to do that. But it’s supposed to build character and encourage me to be a better lady.
_____P.S. I’ve seen pictures of the Shurderell Manor. It’s really big.
_____P.S. again. This isn’t an “April Jesting Late Day” joke, either.
When my dreams and visions help people, it’s not a burden, it’s a good thing.

Well hello Miss Grace I am Randolph Carter. Its good to see you well and posting. Sounds like you have quite the trip planned.

However I believe I must ask you to use caution. That name sounds...familiar. Not in a good way I imagine. I ask you to tread carefully in places of the dead Miss Grace.

@Clarity Grace: I feel I must concur with Mr. Carter. Those familiar with the occult have long held that the manor was haunted and the owner familiar with the powers of the devil.

It doesn't help matters to know that he only died yesterday. On April Fool's.

A coincidence?

It isn't for me to decide.

I confess I am not familiar with this particular manor.

Sounds like a fun trip though, Miss Grace.

Enjoy yourself and try to stay out of trouble.

Watch ya'self there Clarity. Those haunted mansions can be dangerous.
