Starting a Paranormal Investigation Agency

Post by Chester Allen »

Hello, my name is Chester Allen. I am in the process of assembling a team of investigators and I'm throwing out the announcement here on the Lazlo boards because of the Agency's reputation as a top-notch assemblage of hunters, scholars, and psychic adepts.

Any opportunities for networking are welcome.

My budget is small, and I cannot promise full time employment. However, I do have a job lined up. If there is interest, please PM me and we can discuss the terms of the relationship.

Thanks,

Chester

PS. Also, any advice on the start-up are welcome too. No need to reinvent the wheel as they say.

Ben Hollister was asking how the average member here could find a way to get a day job that works for providing opportunities to investigate and check out mysteries and such.

I think this is a great idea.
I will be who I chose to be.

I've been slacking off in welcoming new members, so I'll start with the newest, and work my way back.

Welcome to the Society, Mr. Allen! I guess the best place to start, if you're looking for members, is to say where you are? That'll help us to figure out how you can find people to help out.

As for me, I live in a suburb of Chicago, but it seems I'm gonna be making an out-of-state trip, soon. Kind of exciting, that! But anywho, no matter where you are, I definitely don't mind being a contact for help or general advice with things.

Good luck!

Ah yes. Location, location, location.

The headquarters for the agency is in Minneapolis. Like I mentioned, this is a new endeavor for me. Suffice it to say, the headquarters also serves as my apartment. Upgrades in the future? Yah. I hope so. :D

That said, I've been hired for a job in Nebraska. Once I get my team together we're hitting the road.

Doctor Boggs - my previous experience, though limited, has been hauntings. However, I hope to expand my knowledge and experience - realizing this will be a long, difficult process - such that the agency will be versatile. At times I may need to rely on folks like yourself for consultation. These boards seems like a great place to do just that.

Thanks for the welcome. Happy hunting!

Greetings Mr. Allen. I am the CEO of a multinational coorporation, a division of which is currently established in the investigation, study, and research of the supernatural, occult, and paranormal activity.

As the acting CEO, it is my responsibility to seek out new investment opportunities. I believe that your fledgling organization would fit that bill nicely.

Are you interested in investors, or perhaps finacial backing?

If so, please contact us via private message at this account. I do believe your organization could earn to profit much from such a collaberation.

Thank you for your time.

Starting up any new business is a risky venture. My biggest bit of advice would be, beware of the associations you make and keep. There is an old saying that covers it nicely, Mr. Allen.

If you lay down with dogs, you will wake up with fleas.

Hey there, Mr. Allen. I'm up to my eyeballs in missing corpses here in CA so I can' take any more work at the moment, but I definitely welcome any new networking opportunities that come around!

Shoot me a PM and we'll trade business cards.

Well, it seems you’ve been welcomed enough times already, but I’ll add mine, anyway. Welcome. (And my apologies for anyone I’ve missed; I’ll try to get to you). Personally, I don’t involve myself in the supernatural for the money, which is why I’ve never responded to any of these types of posts before. But good luck, and I hope your venture is successful.

Thank you all for the generous greeting. I have found the discussions I've had with some of your members to be insightful and encouraging. There is much knowledge amongst the members of this society, of which the information captured on this website is a mere fraction.

I have always had a dream of making my paranormal investigations more than mere hobby. To this end, I will dedicate my energies.
I look forward to the possibility of working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Chester Allen

If he got involved with these guys, they're probably dead. These were the same guys that got KT killed.

That would be unfortunate. He seemed fairly optimistic and positive in his outlook. Two traits that are in short supply it seems.

I've recently been in contact with him and I'm happy to report that he's still counted among the living. He's really excited about the talent he's gathered and putting them to work.

I wouldn't mind hearing bout that myself. Specially since since CK International seems to be involved.

Thanks for your interest. I'm happy to report that I've assembled a rather interesting group of investigators. I am not at liberty at this point to mention names or give details. However, I will most certainly provide an update regarding our first honest to goodness investigation under the auspices of Allen Consulting, Inc. This is a very exciting time for me, and I look forward to keeping you abreast of our endeavors.

Thanks!
