How Prepared Are We - Vampires & The Undead

Post by Holister »

Most of us have all encountered at least one vampire or other type of undead creature in our life. That iswhat this thread is about.

Vampires - Everything we need to know.

I'm looking for personal experience, strategies and tactics when battling the undead, the best equipment to use, undead biology and physiology, as well as their methods, habits, practices, and psychology. If it is about vampires, let's see it posted here.

I think my opinions on the undead are pretty well known by this point.

As for dealing with them - preparation, preparation, preparation. The undead have peculiar vulnerabilities and if you are ready to exploit those, they are the ones generally at the disadvantage.

That's true of any enemy.

Any “wisdom” I have is extremely limited . . .

Any “wisdom” I have is extremely limited Ben, since, even when I could speak about this topic with the utmost “authority,” I was different enough from my kind that the others sensed.

Celeste, and even more so Khavik for that matter, had extraordinary physical strength and agility; but even they didn’t view that as the gift so many here believed it was. Their tactics had always been to observe from the shadows and strike when the jugular was exposed, if I may use that expression. Garlic works wonders against vampires, yet it was nothing more than a bad smell to Celeste. I’ve heard it said dropping a bag of sesame seeds also distracts them, but the last person to try that against Khavik found himself having a front row seat to viewing his own bowels.

What else can I say though, Ben? I was a vampire for seven years. There are lots to tell about it. However, time is a precious commodity.

Hope that helps, and hope you’re doing well.
