Can't speak for anyone else but I just got back from Christmas vacation.

And of course, by vacation, I mean work.

The holidays are always so busy...

Good to hear from ya' man. Thought ya' might be takin' a dirt nap or something.

Now if some of the others would just pop their heads up to check in I would sleep better at night.

I'm sure I'll take that nap some day.

Prolly sooner rather than later. Just not quite yet.

You hear from anyone else? Its not like the others to just drop off the face of the world. Hell, even Ron posts like everyday and even he's gone up and missin'.

You don't think someone has actually gotten the better of those guys do ya? I would hate to run into anyone, or anything, that has the balls to pull that feat off.

The last person on this sight that I had a direct conversation with would be Dr. Boggs. He had a rather unique problem to which I was able to provide a solution.

I've otherwise been absent as I was engaged in bringing about that solution.

As for Ron and the rest, I wouldn't worry overly much. They may just be laying low for whatever reason. And as Mr. Caliburn says in his sig,

Ain't nuthin' that can't die

Something I learned the truth of on my last couple of jobs.

And really, it's not like a lotsa folks here were ever super chummy with me to begin with.

I have been otherwise engaged in a holding action defending the mundane world from invading forces. Three thousand have sacrificed themselves to seal the breach.

My own sad, everlasting condition has kept me from joining my brothers in this heroic action (don't get me wrong here, I stood with them, but my life force remained even as theirs was drawn out).

This was two weeks ago and I have been in deep meditation trying to reconcile with the actions of that night.

Please forgive my absence. I will be more attentive within the month.

I'm still alive, though I would hardly call my current situation as being alive. (yes still flesh and blood and all that, just life sucks right now.)

I am pleased to see you my friend, I trust you are well.

I have been travelling a bit over the dark months. I could not allow myself the luxury of distractions, and lacked the amenities of the modern world.

My blades have been reforged and soon I shall be able to rejoin the good fight.

After a few more pressing matters have been dealt with, I look forward to having tea with you and yours again.

Again..YOU ARE ALIVE!!!! Oh man, hearin' from you again Master Li, that's a sight for sore eyes. You have no idea how much we need you right now, and how much we miss your tea. Still have that tea set you gave us. Molly uses it all the time, and even named one of her teddy bears after you.

Glad to have you back sensai. :D

By the way, do you still take students?

Hello again Master Li. Actually I believe that Ben was trying to refer to me. I've been thinking about improving my fighting prowess a lil' bit. I have the strength and reflexes, but it doesn't do me much good if I lack the skills. Maybe you or Willie Long can teach me a few things. I hear you two are the best, and are the ones who taught Celeste Darken.

Heck, if a vampire can learn to fight, why not me?

Thanks in advance.

Kelly dear, I'm quite skilled as well. I dont know if Shang or Willie will have the time to travel to Maine to teach, but if you would like I can teach much.

If you want, I'll draw up a resume of my skills of sorts if you want to look them over. Much of my life has been devoted to martial arts training besides dealing with the paranormal, and even developed techniques especially for them.

And Shang Li-sama, it's so good to know you're alive and well! That raises my spirits quite a bit.

Do you know how crazy that drove my dad? I hope they both say yes so he will at least post again to let us know he's alive.

That's true, I've been keeping a remote eye on him. He's definitely alive and free but the last few views have revealed something I should share here. He's cold as if he's been operating outside a lot lately. Perhaps he's surveilling the compound or straight up raiding it.

Being perfectly honest, I can't get as much detail as I'd like.
