A decision to join

To start off, I made this account two years ago, but never posted because I simply wanted to watch and learn. There are its bugs and wackjobs certainly, but what is the internet without them? Boring. And I have made my decision to officially join the Lazlo Society. Not much of a feat, I understand, since there is no "initiation rite" to undergo, no tests to pass, and so forth.

But there you have it. Another has joined.

So, what can I bring to the Society? Quite simply, not much that you guys don't already have, probably. The library I have access to is vast, but my admission is limited. I can also act as a liaison to other groups that hunt these "para-normals." Finally, the more the heads, the merrier, I've heard.

Hello again Ghostspider. Yes. I am still here amongst the living. Pain and suffering haunt me just fine; death on the other hand avoids me like the Plague.

Again and again I am deprived my eternal peace. I have erradicated legions carving my path to the grave, and yet I am denied. My curse is eternal, I can not rest. Some greater calling still beckons me, drawing me into the unknown against some adversary that remains cast in the shadows.

So the hunt continues, as does my existance.

I have something to say to the one called Eilonwy Solstice, who was once the vampyre known as Celeste Darken. I hope you have found your peace. May this new life you now have give you that which your sought for so long. May the beating of heart bring you comfort and the breath past your lips bring you joy.

To those others know this, when one awakens to find themselves buried alive, it is not a plesant experience to have to claw oneself out of one's own grave. My next death I ask for a Viking funeral and allow my ashes to spread to the winds. Perhaps then my soul my find peace in the great halls of Vahalla.

Until that day comes, I take Deathkiss in hand once more for she knows who her true master is. I will continue along my desolate and forsaken path, leaving behind the corpses and ash of those unholy abominations that dare cross in my wake.

Hello Mr. Azrael, Glad to see you are still with us. I am sure you will find peace, all you have to do is let it find you at least that is what I am told, I think it was said something along the lines of you can not find peace by searching it out, only through asking may you recieve and not until it is time for you to have it will it come, or something like that I never was much into philosophy.

It's a big library for a small town. Has a whole bunch of everything in it, though I just sent in my petition to digitize everything, both as a backup and as an update to the present. We're still using books, catalogs, the Dewey Decimal System, and ad so forths.

It's nice to digitise, I agree, but I just love the feel and smell of an old book. Especially leather bound ones. I could (and have) sat in libraries from open to close.
