I need an old priest and a young priest...

Post by BraveSirRobin »

It never fails. Every time I go away and come back, SOMETHING pops up to try to tell me "hey, you should've stayed away a little longer". So, of course, in the past couple of weeks I've had to deal with three suicide attempts, four barroom brawls gone wrong, and two sneak attacks in the middle of the night, one of which occured in the middle of a drinking binge that kind of threw my radar on the fritz (because when your head is buzzing anyway, that buzz that tells you something is WRONG just kind of fades into the background noise, you know?). All of which have involved either family members or close friends with no conceivable reason to act so violent, all of whom seemed to have no idea what was going on once I'd incapacitated them.

Now, if you ask me, that makes pretty short work of identification on my threat here (unless we want to start talking about mad scientists with mind control rays, but that sounds even less pleasant), but exorcism is just a LITTLE bit outside my skill set. Help?

I can have some people sent your way to help if you like?

Help is always appreciated. Breaking my nephew's father's arm is near the top of the list of things I'd rather not do again. PM for directions to my new place (same crappy town, new crappy neighborhood!).

Has there been any pattern as to who and when?

Besides the fact that it's all people I know (everyone from my step-sister to my drinking buddies), the only common factors are that it happens after dark and I can't feel it coming. Not sure if that means this thing has got some way around my "radar" or if I'm just losing my edge. :?

Weird thought - you pick up any new trinkets lately?

I remember someone talking about spirits that live in things, maybe one of those is making your life bad.
