Amomongo Hominoid Terrozies Philippines

Post by DarKnyht »

Sorry for bringing these to you so late in the day.

Cryptomundo.com brings us a story about the amomongo (loosely, gorilla). It is a creature of Philippine cryptozoology described as hairy, man-sized and ape-like with long nails.

I think the question is whether this is a supernatural predator or just a gorilla gone mad?

Actually, that is part of the problem, at least over here lately on West Coast. Lots of animals are leaving what would be considered their natural territory and encroaching on human territory. At first, I thought it was just a few lost animals, but more and more animals are encroaching on human lands and worse, many are starting to get very agressive. Maybe something is controling them.

I talked to a few, they seemed to be angry and agressive, when the animal calmed down, it didn't know why it was in the area. Maybe this occurance is spreading?

There does seem to be an abundance of odd animal stories as of late.

It could just be coincidence or maybe someone or something is making the animals get more aggressive? Anybody know of anything that can control a variety of animals? The only ones that pop to my mind are mages/druids, but they are ususally limited to one specific species, such as canines, felines, ect.

Afraid my knowledge is mainly of entities, and even that has it's limits.

I guess another theory could be that someone is experimenting in genetic engineering and decided to see how they reacted in different environments? If true, that might explain the different kinds of animals that have been seen also...

Hi Everyone,

Dad's right, it's a little far out of the range of a gorilla. According to the encyclopedia set Bert got me they only live in Africa and can't swim, so a trip across the Indian Ocean is a little difficult.

An Orangutang might make more sense, they live closer to the area, but again the can't swim so it might be hard to get them to those islands.

PS: Maybe they are grumpy because all those noisy machines they've never seen before are tearing up their homes?
I will be who I chose to be.
