As this is likely to be my final post for some time, I'd like to make an apology for acting like a complete ass. My childish behavior has done nothing for me or for the stability of this forum.

That having been said, I need to get away from these unceasing battles for a time, and clear my head. I need to examine what I've become.

I have every intention of returning, but I ask that no one seek me out during this time. I'm simply not...stable enough to be of any great help.

Mr. GhostSpider if you need anything you can come by the estate and I am sure Mr. Greydawn could help you he is pretty good at figuring things out. Besides it is peaceful there and you could get the rest that you need.

There are two guest houses so you could be alone and not have to feel what anyone else is feeling. And if you have to have emotions to feed off of I am sure we could help in that area also since from what I understand it doesn't hurt the people you feed off of most of the staff would be willing and they are almost always in a good mood.

Konrad, when you get back, feel free to drop me a line. I was afraid you were damning yourself with the story of beating the bully up with the hammer...but then I saw what you said after that. I've been defending you, and I'll continue to do so. I know you can't give us answers you don't have, and I have faith you'll find some answers while you're soul-searching. I have faith that when you come back, you'll tell us all you can.

Shadow, by what Kolya just said, it may not be GhostSpider that ran either Kolya or Kalle off. As of right now, I accept full responsibility for that... I tried to keep the peace on the boards, as much as I could. I tried to stop the fighting on all sides. Kolya may not have been offended by this, but both he and Kalle almost certainly saw this as a sign that we didn't care that there are monsters in our midst. This couldn't be further from the truth, but I screwed up. I made a point of cutting off their lines of accusation. I tried to keep the peace, and I succeeded by failing.

For what it's worth, Lex is a minor emotional vampire, herself. She can walk into a room full of depressed people, and she'll be cheerful and perky when she walks in, but when she leaves, everyone else will have cheered up, and she'll feel practically suicidal. The reverse has happened on at least one occasion as well. She doesn't need to do it to survive, or even to maintain her emotional stability--in point of fact, it usually wrecks any stability she has...but she does it without control.

Kolya, Kalle, if you read this, I wish you both would come back...and I'm sorry.
