Cypress Cove BBQ & Retreat Story Board

Post by Holister »

Ok everyone. This is where I decided it best to post your thoughts and memories about this year's retreat. Im sure ya'll had a good time and some good grub.

GS won the werewolf hunt.

I made an ass of myself (as usual).

Kerioke night was a big hit.

Molly had alot of fun hanging around with actual kids, sorry bout Duke being so protective or her.

Sorry so many others couldn't make it. Maybe next time.

Maybe after I get situated in Wyoming I will see bout next year folks.

It was good getting to meet people and put names to faces. Get a chance to know a few people. Came away with more than I thought I would, and gave away more than I intended, but I think those that got that rarity won't be quick to let that slip. ... Spent more ammo on just recreation than I thought I would, but some of it was stress relief.

All in all though, a pretty good weekend.

Over all it was a good weekend. I know that Katherine, and Nina, were thrilled to see Molly again, as well as seeing Jess. Both of them haven't stopped talking about Soph, and they always like hanging out with Hannah.

I also enjoyed seeing people, when it wasn't a life and death situation. It was good to just have fun.

I hope everyone got a kick out of me making a fool of myself on the Karaoke machine. Also want to thank Shadow for getting up there and singing the Ghostbusters theme with me.

It was a blast Ghost, and you were far from the only person to make a fool of themself with that Karaoke Machine.

Hi Everyone,

Despite some of the drama, we still had a lot of fun. It was especially good to spend some time with kids my age who don't act like I'm a total mental case.

Hannah

PS: Not that I'm not a mental case of course, but not totally. :D

Prolly wasn't that hard.

Anybody doing anything for the 4th of July?

Btw Shadow, next time we bump into each other, would you mind helping me with the reverse 540 kick? I mean, I can do a regular one just fine, but hitting with the heel is al ittle bit harder.

Hi guys....thanks for comin' to the BBQ.

Hope you all had a good time up here. I had a blast. It was gettin' together with all of you without having to go fight something for a change.

Karioke night was a blast. Best version of " Ghostbusters " I ever heard....

and Ghost....I let you catch me... :P

Too bad Bert wasn't round. He'ld have loved it. It was also great havin' all them kids round. They were adorable....specially you Soph. What a lil' gentleman.

About Benny Boy, don't worry about him. He's just a lil' upset right now, but he'll get over it real soon....even if I have to beat it into him.. :D

Thanks to all of you for showing Sophoroto a good time. He hardly talked about anything else for a week. I have a feeling he left a few details out about the girls though. :D

Soph's a good kid. Also, don't believe a word of it when he says I tried to get him to blow an old car up.

That's what they all say Kelly.

Hi Kelly,

I'm glad you're posting on here and all the other awesome news I'm hearing from Maine/soon to be Wyoming.

I guess you did let him catch you, if you'd gotten to where Wie and I were we would have kept you hidden.

Hannah

PS: I don't think we did anything too mean to Soph, most of the girls were as red faced as him

Why thanks Hannah. I'm sure you and WieCee would have done that.

Shame your Pa couldn't make it. Might have been some real competition durin' that hunt then suga'. :D

Well whenever you and WieCee there want to come on out to Wyoming, you just let me know lil' lady. I can handle Ben. :D

It’s . . . well, it was a complicated matter for me in my decision to remain behind during the hunt, Jake; the least was being blind, the most caring for Hannah. And a lot between. Thank you for talking to me for so long before that, though. It meant a lot to me.

Hi Kelly,

Might have been better that my Dad wasn't there. He doesn't seem to think hunting werewolves is a game and I think he and Ben might have gotten to discussing some things with their fists.

Miss Hannah, you need not worry about your being mean to young Sophoroto. He just hasn't been around that many girls and hasn't the experience of dealing with them, especially and I quote "such beautiful and kind girls." He was rather taken by you and the others and was worried he would make a fool of himself in front of you.

Don't worry, the only ones who made real fools of themselves were the grown ups.
