Re: Leaving Maine
Just six more days. Thats all I ask. Six days of normalcy.
Im fine...even going to therapy like I said.

Ben's not likely to talk anyway, Ei. You know that as well as anybody. To him, we're part of the problem.

I know, Jake . . . it just hurts to hear him say that . . .

I hate to sound like an ass, and I'm not trying to be, I just know how I'd feel in his position.. in that he probably doesn't want to hear from you... would probably rather you go away for a little while.
It's a lot harder to deal with something painful if it's right in front of you, and digging in, rather than not having to stare it in the face for a while, while the wound closes some, and isn't hurting as much.
Note: THat's not a slight against Eilonwy it's just how some people cope.

I remember when my first girlfriend broke up with me, I was so pissed, I didn't want to talk to or see her for six months.
Now I call her periodically, and we have great chats together.

Re: Leaving Maine
yeah, same with mine, except occasionally we wind up sharing a place every once in a while. Nothing comes of it, but we're still really good friends. Been that way with all of them except one. She was a ****-wh0r3 that should have suffocated in her own afterbirth. .. Sorry, that was horrible of me, I know.

Good luck in your retirement then Mr. Hollister.

Re: Leaving Maine
Well retirement is still 3 days off...wait....its Thursday ain't it...ok so tomorrow is my last day...then I hand over the keys to Sheriff Angel.
Two more days then I am out of this place.
However.......I do have some unfinished business before I go. So Ethan, if you could send me copies of those reports Kelly told me about I would appreciate it.
And um....Wie....yeah...well...um...I will PM you.
Thats all I will say on that matter.
I am still leaving Cypress Cove though. Not for the reasons you may think...I just think maybe its time for a fresh start.
I will stay in touch when I can once we get situatated.
Thanks for all the support.

Ditto....one of the reasons I'm leaving Maine. Molly needs a secure home and stable place to grow up.
And someplace that this weird ass shit doesn't happen every other day of the week.
Wyoming means..."No weird ass SupNat crap here." Ah...the joys of retirement.
After tomorrow its all Sheriff Angel's burden.

I hope you're correct.Holister wrote:Wyoming means..."No weird ass SupNat crap here." Ah...the joys of retirement.
If you're not, that means the demons are following you around.
Which means your therapist sucks or you seem to gravitate towards nexus points.
I know which I'd choose.
Enjoy life with your little family there in Wyoming.
Beautiful, beautiful country that.
Of course, I don't need to tell you.
Question everything.
Re: Leaving Maine
Well. Today is the day I hand in my badge; less than three hours from now.
I never thought I would see the day; or live to see it. Its been a good past couple of years, but now.....now I have responsibilities that I have to tend to first. Mainly my lil' Molly.
I would like to thank to society and all those friends I've met here over the past two years. So many "wonderful" adventures. I do not plan to quit the society, but my role will much smaller now. I will help my firends if and when they ask for, and my door will always be open to them no matter where I live.
So many things I wanted to see accomplished....I so many things I wanted to do before I left.
Tonight.....I take care of some unfinished buisness.
Take care everybody, we'll be talkin' again real soon.

Maybe it's not all Sheriff Angel's burden?

Re: Leaving Maine
I wish you well, Mr. Holister, and I look forward to when I am old enough to travel such a distance on my own, since for some odd reason I look forward to serving you and your family tea.
