Michael's secretary (Jan?) sent me an e-mail last night, warning me that Michael wasn't himself (as if it couldn't be told by this post)... Well...I found the e-mail when I heard someone in my house last night. I heard a voice, mumbling quietly from downstairs, and the dog had been whimpering and whining... I snuck into my closet, grabbed Claw, and snuck out to the upstairs landing. I hit the lights--and saw Michael, going over the wards he put on my house, mumbling to himself. He didn't flinch when I turned on the lights or anything.

"Michael?" "*mumble mumble*" "Helloooo?" "*mumble mumble*" "Okay, well...I guess you can crash on the couch for the night, and bear witness when Lex kills me in the morning for inviting someone over..." "*mumble mumble*" "Would you care to corroborate the fact that I didn't invite you, so maybe she just mortally wounds me, instead of killing me?" "*mumble mumble*" "Alright, I'm going back to bed. Have a good night." Care to guess his response to *that* one?

I went to check the forums for any kind of updates, found the e-mail from Jan, and went back to bed, where I promptly had trouble falling back asleep. I was exhausted when I went to bed last night, and now I'm still exhausted, and gotta hit the road in a big brown truck... Yay for driving under sleep deprivation. >_< Wish me luck.

If someone could come over and give me a hand, I'd appreciate it. Much as I don't normally mind helping out, I still have to go to work.
