Something from the heart. I’m sorry, I know that’s cliché, but I know very little about his likes and desires. Maybe simply a quiet evening without any worries? I know Hannah searched far and wide for a self-arranged bouquet of flowers that smelled absolutely wonderful. But maybe that isn’t the best gift for a man . . .?

PS: Glad to hear from you, Soph.

Maybe a bottle of well aged scotch or congac for his library? those little crystal decanter and glass sets seem to be a staple in the libraries that house the sort of "private collections" of literature that I imagine Greydawn possesses, and those decanters must need filled sometime.

As Ei said, a thoughtful gift is best. Lex's birthday, ironically, is on Wednesday... I let her get another doll, some more doll outfits, and on the side, I bought her some DVD's that she's been wanting for quite some time...

Hey, there's an idea-a more reinforced shed!
You traded in your wings
For everything freedom brings
You never left me
You never let me
See what this feeling means

Everything that you feel
Is everything that I feel
So when we dream
We shout....

 Already fixed the boat house and it is more like a bomb shelter know.

It is good to be back Mr. GhostSpider, missed talking with you guys.
It was pretty rough where we went, but we are good now. Mr. Greydawn isn't limping now so he is feeling better. He needs to learn to shoot a gun.

There was not internet where we went, that really sucked.
Now we are back and I see I have to teach some people manners.

Now if we could just get everybody to act civil towards one another it would be even better. :?

That is so cool Mr KonThaak, tell her happy birthday for me and Mr. Greydawn.

Long time no see, Soph!

Ehm, Doesn't Mr. Greydawn frequent the boards himself?

Anyway, gifts SHOULD be personalized, and even though I don't know Mr. Greydawn that well, I'm sure you're familiar enough with him to make an excellent choice if you give it some thought. G'luck, kid!

Hi Mr. Koralth, yeah he does but right now he doesn't get on them very often only when we give him his lap top he is stuck in bed for now doctor's orders.

Thanks for the advice on his gift guys he really liked it, I decided to make pdf copies of all the books in the library that could be copied so he could read them while he is recovering.

No they are not on the hard drive wouldn't want someone to be able to get to them with out his consent. :)

I apologise for the lateness, may the day of your birth be a joyous anniversary for you. When it is completed I shall send you a copy of "The Heart Sutra". Would you like the scroll in Japanese, english, or sanskrit?
Understanding, is not a thing that comes swiftly, but rather in stages, a journey that once begun, must be seen to it's end.

He reads English and Japanese. He keeps telling me that it is hard to translate the exact meaning from Japanese to English. I also know he has some books on how to translate sanskrit. I think he would enjoy it though no matter what language it is in.

Thank you Mr. Li.
