Calgary hot spots...

Greetins all, I live and work in the Calgary area. Thats Calgary in Alberta Canada, Just above Montana...

Over the years I have noticed a lot of P.P.E. in the area. There are a number of hot spots here and many people see ghosts or other paranormal activity. The city is in a river valley with hills and lakes through it as well. Lots of trees and a few old buildings dating back 100 or more years. There seems to be a lot of areas that have just a phenominal amount of energy and there are a lot of psychics and Reiki Masters and other healers in the city as well as Massage Therapists and Tarot readers etc.

There are a lot of homeless downtown and some pretty bad areas in the city thought not like the Big American cities. We do have a lot of disopearances here.

Take a case I was working on a few years ago...
There were a number of prostitutes down town and in the Forrest Lawn district that started to disopear. At first nobody noticed, but soon the police got involved and it hit the papers, namely the Calgary Hearald and the Calgary Sun...

After a few months of investigation and no substantial leads, Detective Constible Garry Cockburn got ahold of me and asked that I lend a hand, on the sly as it were...

He gave me a list of the usuall hang outs of the girls and I went by to get a feal of them. Needless to say I expected some violent crime, a jerk jon who
would grab, slash and dump. I expected to find the bodies in some unobtrusive hole somewhere along the river.

I was wrong.

I was so wrong.

I started to get a sense of blackness, and opressivly evil malevolence I have never before encountered.

After much searching and sensing these holes of darkness where the girls once were I think I found what seemed to be a Gaki. One that came from the West coast when the Japanese were brought to Alberta durning the 2nd World War. It came following the immigrants as it did when it came to this country and it has found a redily available food source in the cities refuse...

I never heard of a gaki. What is it?

Gaki is a vampire like demon, hunts at night and is a patch of non corporeal darkness that drains your energy. Can take human form, usually Japanese and thats when you can hit them with solid weapons

So kill anything Japanese that suddenly appears from the darkness . . . why do I feel like I'm fighting ninjas all of a sudden?
