I noticed that, too. I hope he’s all right . . .

Who is Kalim?
I recall Bert mentioning him.
Who is this “Kalim”? And why do I get an eerie feeling just saying the name?

Trust me Eilonwy Solstice, you're better off not knowing.Eilonwy Solstice wrote:I recall Bert mentioning him.

The flesh is willing, and let's hope the spirit's strong.
She's right you know...
Did anyone have any clues about where he may have gone? It's been long enough I think it may justify looking into his condition - he's always been pretty dependably bound to these boards...

Hi Everyone,
Speakin' of people not in contact, Wie's been out of touch for a while. She went on a trip and promised ta call or email ever day and it's been two days without her bein' in touch so far.
Anyone know where she's at?
Hannah
PS: It was great having Bert in tha school, but I really don't need people watchin' me like that.

Both Bert and Wie are definitely the worse for wear - but they will recover. Wie will be out of the hospital in a couple of days.
Bert's lucky on that score . . . when I found out he caused most of Wie's injuries I almost throttled him right there. He's also lucky he wasn't in his right head when he did it - otherwise I would still want to throttle him.
I'll let Bert and Wie explain how they got to this point - it's a little convoluted.

In life my friend was much more courageous, but now that he's dead, it's a different story. I've been all over the ethereal and if it involves finding a lost daughter, you can be damn sure I'm gonna go whether he thinks it's a good idea or not. On the physical plane, no, I'm not going to track this monster; in the ethereal, regardless of flavor, I'll be of more help.
