Ron Caliburn wrote:Those things can jump through your computer? Not nice.

Fortunately I keep a 12 guage within easy reach of pretty much everyplace I sit in my house.

even more not nice when you spazz out and shoot your computer afterwards...

luckily, I had most of my important files (addresses of old online girlfriends, a few rather dubious works on demonology procured through Google-Fu, a couple gigs of porn, the usual) on my iPod, but still...

Get to Mia if you need to ship any thing let me know. You were putting together a crew last I read. Anyone coming with you? If so let me know and I'll see what I can do about reembursing you for the flight.
The more the merrier if Ron wants to come on down the we can always use another weapons man. I've got something special I put together for this op I think he'd appreciate.

You can buy the original editionhere. It's an interesting look at weapons from across the world. It's also obsolete.

Buncha guns in the first printing are no longer produced, and some of the technical data is fucked up. Maryann's is using more rigorous testing methods now, and everyone should pick up a copy of their 2005 edition before they pick up a gun at all.

As far as available weapons, I'd check out gun manufacturer's websites. For handguns, some big names are Para-Ordinance, GLOCK, Smith & Wesson. Heckler & Koch, Ruger, and Springfield Armory make both handguns and shoulder arms. Winchester is still in the game, but I don't know what's goin' on with Colt.

Is there anyone on these boards who prefers melee weapons or is it only me?

Aw yeah, Jack. I rarely go out without a baton, 'cause there are some things you just don't want to block with your bare hands. One favorite is an expanding tonfa, another is a Maglite w/side handle. I've never been one for blades.

sorry for the delay in my reply... saw a couple of drones hanging in my latest wi-fi point, had to move on to greener pastures

yeah... my group... that didn't work so well...

got some "good ol boys" together... a little scouting of some strange goings on in a local part went wrong, they trusted a trucker over me despite my repeated warnings about what that bruise under his nose meant... and suddenly I had a new recipe for "good ol street pizzas"...

so, yeah, I've mostly been sticking it out on my own...

Sorry to hear about your group Robin. It sucks when the people you're supposed to rely on for back up don't trust you. Anyway have you checked your PM box by any chance. If not do so soon I could use a Pyrokinetic down here. Things are turning nasty. Anyhow I gotta go talk to you soon.
