Yes everyone has their own Dream Pool, this is how people interface with the Dream Stream.
Think of it as a filter if you wish. Or as a Breaker, to keep people's mind's from being overloaded. Either works as an example.
Basicly you just can't cut people off from the Dream Stream as it can over extended periods lead to some pretty nasty results.

I don’t think I agree with that, Konrad. There are some doors that should definitely be locked tighter than a line.
Besides, without good intentions, we would have no trail to follow back out of hell.
Sometimes the only thing to be done is to feel one’s way through the darkness.

I don't see you giving up even if you go there Mr. Caliburn I see them having to call back troops to deal with you there.
Never give up, never surrender, right Mr. Caliburn? Take the fight to them and make them pay with their lives.

Mr. Caliburn, would you be interested in range testing a new form of firearm that I have developed? It relies on the principals of an electro magnetic accellerator, but I have managed to get the size down to that of a rifle. So far the power pack (size of a car battery) is good for six shots, but the materiel fired can be anything woth a magnetic bead at the base, penetration tests have shown results that vary based on the projectile fired, as does the recoil (the weapon is stable firing rounds of up to 0.5 Kg)

Actually the entire device, without ammo weighs in at appoximately 3 kilos, just had to make sure that teh thing would not shake apart fireing particularly heavy materiel. The pellets that go into the base of each round (full breach load so projectile length is not an issu beyond the .5 kilo limit) only weigh 3 grams each, the power supply is the current issue, working on a fuel cell, but still need to improve the containment to make that component safe enough for field testing, that unless you want the 100 round energy capacity in a 1 kilo package that will detonate with ehough force to turn an IFV inside out if it take a hard hit....

That is why it has to make do with the 6 shot Lion plymer pack the size of a care battery, havent gotten hydrogen fuel cells stable enout, and hydrogen peroxide in the purities required for a power cell is too reactive to try with anything that may be breached in use.
