Yes i am aware of that, I am also aware of teh tendancy for the human mind to fall into habits. Due to teh fact that I assembled these files before I was heavy in to the theoretical research side of things, I am hoping it is just a matter of not seeing the forest for the trees, some minor fact I am missing by sheer oversight (and exhaustion).

First of all, this explains SO much! :P

Second, I must apologize for James, apparently if I'm not here to reign him in, he's resorted to being an ass to people. I should probably get back to Maryland soon, that way he's able to be hit over the head for his crimes of stupidity.

And judging by James's posts, you think he's a MENSA member?

Damnit Sophoroto, be careful when you make jokes like that. I sprayed sprite all over my laptop when I read that.

As for those of us who were at Bert's camp. Yes, that was his favored form of punishment. You should talk to Zack (Koralth), he was a prime example.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Zack still wasn't sporting a bruise from that his time at Bert's little camp.

I saw Drill Sgts do worse during boot camp. I was downright gentle compared to what I could do.

The boys who grew up in our compound and were sent off to serve would often come back and say how easy the Army/Marines were in comparison.

Not true, my skull is in tip-top shape... well, it WAS until I got to the party. Bert was sure I was long overdue for a good smacking.

Sounds rough, if what we got was light.

Yeah . . . it's amazing how quick it comes back too . . . I'm always having to remember that I'm not doing that with Hannah when something goes wrong.

I am guessing Hannah is particularly glad of the fact you are trying not to fall into habits from the Compund Ron.

Her and Eilonwy . . . I'm really not sure she knows what she's getting into by living with us.

Though it's nice that there wil be someone there when Hannah gets home from school.

Oh? Like the time you came home from hunting and fell right on me practically bleeding to death? Hannah had to help me get you off . . . .

Okay, so you weren’t bleeding to death. But you stopped me from calling the hospital and had me call that other guy instead . . .

Ron, I can honestly say he did not give me a good feeling. He sounded like a ghoul. I can understand why you told Hannah to go into her room and not come out until he had left. But then, I understand why you told me to stay in my room . . . I wonder what he would have done to you had I obeyed you and not been there?

Well, Hannah was a bundle of nerves for her first day at school, but she put up a very brave front. Whoever said excitement couldn’t go hand in hand with nervousness? I hope she enjoys it all right . . . I hope Ron enjoys it all right.

I hope Miss Hannah enjoys school, I know I miss it a little. Since moving in with Mr. Greydawn I have been home schooled by Mr. Phillips and Mr. Lindon.

Mr. KonThaak, you could take courses through one of those online colleges that cater to adults, you know set your own schedule and all that.

I'm actually considering taking online courses at one of my local colleges... Thing is, I can't set any kind of schedule in stone, because I start my work day at 8:30 in the morning, and I work until the work is done (which sometimes isn't until close to 8 in the evening).

I don't want to go to one of the online colleges, because it seems like degrees from those colleges aren't very respected... I guess a lot of people think you can cheat your way to an online degree, or at least get one a lot easier than at an accredited non-online college... I don't know what the big difference is between a degree at an online college and getting a degree at a regular college with online courses is, but, whatever...

Eilonwy, we'll talk more about that when I get home tonight.

Hannah enjoyed her first day, until she had another seizure.

Since her seizures don't seem to be related to video screens I've let her use the computer again - but she can only come here on the weekends while she's in school, so you should hear from her Saturday or Sunday.

These seizures concern me.

Has anyone moniter her vitals while she's been having one?

Could we rig up a mobile recorder for her to wear to see what's going on when it happens?

They concern all of us, Bert. And we’re doing what we can. Ron will let you know the prognosis, if any.
