My previous mission

Post by A. Pendragon »

As some of you may have known, I have been on a mission. More like a hunt. While in my home land of Britain, I had noticed a rise in cult activity. Gothism was on the rise and more and more people dissappeared into the "Dark". So I grab my gear and went hunting. As a former spook for her majesties intelligence services, I felt it best if I do this on my own.

After poking around, I found out that a new or should I say old cult/ religion has sprung up. At first I thought it was just some kiddie college crap. I was wrong and my mistake almost caught me my life. This cult which is normally known as the Cult of Night is nothing but a pale cover for an old religion. A religion that predates the Americas, and well most known history. A religion that for all intents and purposes I am calling the "Ba'al". Ba'al after the mythical people/beings that even now seek to overcome us.

I decicde to infiltrate this cult and learned of a few of its secrets. Recent rise of the certain political organizations in the USA? Ba'al. Recent rise in dissappearances? Ba'al. Weather problems across the globe that are stronger then normal or just unsual? Ba'al.

I have seen these beings, beings that look just like me and you, perform incredible feats of magick. Sometimes during their rituals, they performs mass sacrifices. I did what I could to save those few that I could. When I had the opportunity, while I was undercover, I leaked info to the police that resulted in a few raids. Fewer then I expected, but none the less a few lives were saved.

I honestly say this with all my heart and soul: I fear for our future.

Please god, cleanse my soul of the evil I have seen.
Fear the night because the night doesn't fear YOU!!!

This is a cult that thrives on hate. It promotes all the vices that regular law enforcement seeks to stamp out. Drug use, degredation of the human (and sometimes inhuman) body, murder, greed, lust, power, etc...

This cult is huge. It has its hands everywhere. Politics, Military, Law, Education, EVERY*FREAKING*WHERE!!!

In your infiltration, did you come across any information on the whereabouts of society member Lucas Priest? We crossed paths months ago while he was investigating the Cult of Night, which we have learned is a Ba'al sect. He has been missing for months, and any intel on his location or status would be appreciated. So far, you are the only two from the society to have infiltrated, but only you have returned.
Good? Bad? I'm the one with the gun.....

The alas, does not sound familiar. In truth your friend may have gone over to the "Dark"side. (no pun intended). It took every ounce of my will, my being, my very sould not to fall to their corrupt teachings. Even now I have trouble sleeping. What area of the world did he start his invesitgation? I will do what I can.
