"Good" and "evil" are all in the eye of the beholder, man... It most likely wasn't *you* they were reacting to... Tori did say there was something "very off" about you, but she "couldn't put her finger on it"... That would certainly define what was going on around you at that point in time.

Some choose an evil path. They find young and impressionable protoges.

It is a nature/nuture situation.

You raise a pit bull to be a fighter, it's going to be a fighter, despite its nature to be a dog.

The worst kind of human is the kind that nutures evil in other humans. Those that have evil nutured in them still need to be put down, but I have 1 degree of sympathy because I know exactly how they got to be where they are.

Still. Without mental derangment or other special extenuating circumstances, we are in control of our choices.

Even with that in mind, many still have choices. They are just predisposed in a certain way. It is rare when someone has truly lost their agency. And horrible.

I believe the saying is something to the effect of, “The only thing for Evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.” Very true words.

Yes it is.

You also see it a lot around in the blight. The kids here grow up with violence and drgs, so they never question, never think that there is any other way, so they never make a choice about what they are going to do with their lives ... usually they end up bleeding out in the gutter before 25.

I’m sure he would have tried to dissuade me if he had caught me; But generally speaking . . . Ron doesn’t tell me what to do; he only gives me advice.
