As was stated I can deal with the demon, if needed I can do it alone to free others to deal with other issues. It will suck to do it alone, but I can and will if needed. As for the godling, if they are weak enough I may be able to tip the balance our way. I have a few scroll to deal with this situation.

I made a return trip from my apprenticeship with Michael and was out with Katja when five assholes with Kalashnikovs attacked us. They not tried to kill us, just to capture us. Well, they got Katja. I escaped because of her actions.

She crushed the windpipe of one from them, shot another with her pistol, and I shot another with my pistol after a spell failed. But she got overpowered and dragged into the van. I not real sure why the driver speeded off quickly at the time. I mean, without me.

Kolya and the cops arrived soon after the incident. The guy I shot survived, so we were able to put him under interrogation.

The operation was to grab two females, he explained. They had our - Katja and me - photographs and some rather specific information about where we would be and when. We learn from this asshole some information that I was able to use for to determine Katja's location. And here the twist: this asshole one from the Spider Cultists.

Katja and me are working on the Spider Cult bust. We probably seen as weak targets to gain information out from and maybe as the strategic move against our efforts to bust it up. If not, "it is now," as Kolya said.

That is correct. I made the decision to take the intitiative and up the tempo in this little spat I have going on with interdimensional asshats. I know dym has been in contact with them, and he has been making friends in North America as well. I feel the need to gain some ground.

We went to get Katja back. I put her in this mess, so I felt responsible for making sure she got out of it safe and sound.

In conjunction with her apprenticeship with Michael, Natasha has been gathering information about the Spider Cult in their home world - the same world where we successfully executed Operation Silver Strike. Through their efforts we were able to learn where Katja was being held.

I secured an audience with the head honcho of her captors. A shitbag with a direct line to the top. Not exactly Tier 1 type of shitbag, but close enough to be a decision maker, and close enough to convey precisely how serious I was taking the matter of removing the cult's presence from Earth.

So my demands were simple and straight forward:

Release Katja, or I would take her.
Dismember the cult on Earth, or I would do it for them.

"Your reply?" I asked.

With defiance and hubris the shitbag sniffed, stood up from his chair, and left the room.

That evening I lead the raid on the prison. It was quite literally a smashing success. I left a message with one of the surviving guards that now I had only one demand left, and that I needed an answer within one week, otherwise I would have to assume, and that I always assume wrong.
