Are they cougars, pathers, or something else?

Post by DarKnyht »

I found this article today and it caught my eye. The people in the area claim it is cougars, panthers, or nothing at all, but I think there is a chance it always could be something entirely different. So far there has been no photographic evidence, but their have been numerous people that have heard the screech that sounds like a large cat in the wild.

Read the story and let me know what you think. Perhaps if someone down that way isn't busy they could check it out.

Escaped pet. Or someone set the pet free because the wild animal cannot be tamed so easily.

Ever heard a Sasquatch call? Might be mistaken for a screeching cat at a distance.

Still, big cats have been rumoured to be living in and around some of the densest population areas on Earth without concretly being detected. Doo a google search for the Pumas of England for example.

They are elusive animals, wisely staying away from humans.

Most of them are escaped or released pets from all I know, of course, that is data coming from Sasha.

The reports of the British Big Cats go back to Roman times - seems to be a native species.
