My weekend in Russia

Post by Michael T »

As most people know I was injured over the weekend in Moscow. I had been following leads and diviations to find Dym, I had avery solid lead on where he may be hiding. I arrived at the very large expensive home north of the city and slipped in past the guards, the security system was a simple matter to bypass with a simple spell. I crept in and listened in on the grou inside, it seems I missed Dym by minutes, the group was planning a hit on the Russian members of of Society. I began blasting the people in the area immediatly.

"Where is Dym?" I asked in Russian.

Most of the men began fireing thier sidearms at me, the females ran for heavier weapons. The remaining men were in shock that soome one appeared out of nowhere to attack them. The battle was a very ugly fast incident, within a few minutes most of the people were dead or incapasitated. One of the women lunged at me with a sword, I tried to move away and took a slash across the chest, I spun Skullcrusher in a defensive arc to ward off her next blow. After a couple of good parries on my part she slashed me across the forehead, I rolled bacwards trusting Skullcrusher to warn me of her approach as I wipped blood from my eyes. As I stood a rifle barked on full auto, I took a round through my right tigh the rest were stopped by my invunrability spell. As I stumbled to my feet the swordswoman stabbed for me, I fell to my right and recived a very deep cut along my left side about even with my heart. I blasted the gunwoman with a lighting bolt, I barely put Skullcrusher between me and the sword as it arced in for a throat slash. I got llucky, the woman tried to press her advantage and slipped in a blood pool, my blood to be exact.
I swung my mace hard in a downward two handed arc, her sword never even slowed it down. She fell dead.

At the time I did'nt relize how bad I was hurt, the slash to my chest was to the bones as was the one on the side. The cut to my forehead scored my skull, the least threating of my wounds was the gun shot to my tigh. The round missed all the bone and arteries and passed clea through. If Shadow had'nt arrived when he had I probably would not be here to type this. I guess I will not be going solo in the near future again. I am pissed I missed Dym, but AI belive I got one of his major groups put down. I am doing alot better another day or so and I'll be at top form again. Thanks to Gale I am moving unser my own power and will heal myself more as I can.

By the way Dym we are not done yet, I will find you.

oi, well, I am very pleased you survived the encounter!

This whole episode has been one giant ugly mess.

I wish things would have went in another direction.

Natasha, you're back! I'm glad. Did my statement help you any?

No problem, Natasha...

Anyway, Michael, sounds like you had a rough time there. Good job, as I'm sure you heard, I couldn't hardly handle a bunch of bass' low-ranking flunkies. Congratulations on a (mostly) successful bust.

You did well Zack your alive, I have the advantage of a long career of spell casting and combat against much worse opponet wise. You are a man with LEO training and pure guts, and you are still here. I have a spell that will have most weapons bounce off me without harm, and I almost did'nt make it. And Logos thank you for the continued posts to keep me replying to you, I may have not tried as hard with out that.
