Reintroduction
I am posting this outside of roll call because I have a feeling that there will be much discussion on what I am about to say. I returned from my trip to the mountains yesterday afternoon, and I believe that I have found the clarity that I have been looking for. I also believe I have an answer to a question Koyla posed a few weeks ago.
I plan on sending back all supernatural creatures that I come across to whatever realm they belong to no matter how benign they may seem. I believe them all to be a cancer upon our world that should be removed. Even the ones brought here by someone on this world, simply put they don't belong.
When it comes to those who would willingly use magic to bring supernatural threats into our world, they should be treated as the terrorists that they are. In my opinion, they are just as dangerous as a fanatical terrorist with a nuke.
If they surrender I think there should be a way to tag them and track them. If they do the wrong thing again, I think they should be suffer the same fate as the supernatural menaces they so willingly bring into our world. We don't hesitate to put down terrorists, we shouldn't hesitate to put down these rouge mages.

Welcome back. If I weren't making ready for a night in the mud, I'd take some more time to expound on what you're saying.
I agree with you, 95%.
The missing 5% being the angels and similar holy creatures. Best we get their help rather than send them home.
I say we start in the cities. Pushing them out of the cities where they feast upon us like a football team in a buffet is the first step. Once our cities are saf we can hunt them in the country or take the fight to wherever these things come from.

Congrats.
Now I'll tell you what I tell everyone who takes that stand, If you hurt or slay any innocent SupNats, like Cee or (seemingly) Hit Squirrel (who is beyond natural at this point) or BearShaman, I'll punch your clock and you can do your hunting in the next world.
That's you're only warning.

Ron, I agree with you starting in the city. I think I am going to relocate myself to a single area and work from there.
Bert, I knew that what I decided was going to create tensions, but the fact remains it is the best solution. You can see my other postings for why I feel that way even with Celeste. All I can tell you is if they dosn't cross my path we will have little to worry about.
I would classify Bearshaman as more of a shaman/mage than a were-creature. If I understand his postings he would be using magic and ritual to transform. That would mean unless he was actively bringing things over he is not my concern.
As for the Squirrel, I think there is someone on the other side of the computer who watched a lot of cartoons is a few screws loose. I know what you guys have been claiming, but I am having difficulty buying into a sentient squirrel. If one starts talking to me I would be more likely to shoot first and wonder about it later.

A vampire showed up
I came.

Which is why I never wanted you around here.
I really can't get into this right now. I have too much else to do.
I don't take it as a threat, but a statement of his convictions just as I have stated mine. If that time comes, each of us will do what we feel is the right thing.
The best I can offer is that I am not going to travel cross country to kill one vampire when there are so many problems close at hand unless I believe she is a serious threat.

Don't get shot Ron. Hate to see you not make it back to D.C.
As for DarKnight, he sounds alot like another "purify the world from evil" psycho named Azrael. I guess ol' Az has a new deciple.
Im with Bert, innocent is innocent regardless of race, creed, color, or species. As a man of the law, I gave an oath to serve and protect. I will not kill you, but I will make sure you don't harm any else ever again. Count on that.
Oh, and if you even think of going after Cee, I will put a bullet between your eyes so damn fast, you won't even know your dead till they start doing the autopsy.

It was almost a full year ago Ron so you may have forgotten, but I told you the same thing. You hurt Cee, whom I was vouching for at the time because at that point I believe only Dante and I had worked with her, and I hurt you. Now you accepted that people were vouching for her, so nothing ever came of it. But when people aren't willing to extend that bit of trust shit starts.

And you vouching for her has kept me from doing anything to her in the meetings I've had with her over the past month. Neither you, nor Ben nor Shang would deter me from doing what I felt needed doing when the time came.
I think you're wrong, but until it's proven, I'm going by your word.
I also trust that if you're proven wrong, you will be helping to stake her out . . . if your mistake hasn't killed you of course.

Bert, Ben Quit with the threats will you. DarKnyht I think you are oversimplefiying things a lot, but I think considering what has happened to you lately I understand why. I do however ask that you keep an open mind to the idea that not everything Supernatural is evil, ok?

I have said it before, good, bad, ugly, they don't belong on our world. I am simply helping them find their way back home. I don't want to see life on my planet being used as puppets in a cosmic battle between supernatural entities.
If they want to fight, they can go to some other world and do it. If they refuse to leave on their own, I will help them on their way.
Again, if you want to state where you stand you are welcome to. However, it is not going to change my feelings or my path. I think you are just as misguided as you think I am. You are letting personal feelings blind you to the fact that something that does not belong on this world inhabits the corpse of Celeste Darken. You argue on behalf of the usurper, I argue for the justice owed to the one that had her life destroyed.

What Ron said.
I am too busy to respond, but I am in 95% agreement.
There are things not from this world that do not deserve neither banishment nor destruction.
I know there a lot of Russians alive today because of such other worldly beings.
There are a lot dead, too.
That is the point. It is not black and white.

So Mr. DarKnyht are we to take it that you are going to send Mr Crosshair MT and others like him back to whince they came as well?

For this being a society, this thread definately doesn't make itself seem like a meeting involving tea and cake... How is it though that one person seems to think they can start an entire revolution against everything supernatural? The new Hitler should be put on a leash before someone on the other end of the fanatic spectrum helps him dig his own grave. Not a threat, just wishing to lend a hand with the manual labor
And technically, with even the way that others from this world have learned to use energy and do such things with it as control fire to speaking with the dead, the supernatural extends past just what someone else sees as "another world" when in fact they could just be looking at a mirror.

As I said, if he is willingly working with bringing that which does not belong to this world into it then that might be a possibility. All it takes is for someone who summons to do the wrong thing just once and unknown horrors have an open doorway to our world, I think that is just more risky than a push of the button sending us into nuclear winter. Or perhaps it is just one person (Azriel) to be listening to a voice that is not really who they think it is.
But lets be honest for a minute before you start back with your arguements. There are plenty of things out there already for me to work on sending back to even worry about those here unless they present the biggest threat. If we ever get to the point that those here that keep getting pointed out to me are the only ones left to deal with, we can deal with it then. Otherwise these conversations really don't serve any purpose except to get everyone into a pissing match.
Until that time comes my philosophy will be along the lines of this. "The enemy of my enemy is still my enemy. If he can kill my enemy then my job is that much easier, but he is still ultimately my enemy."

Cyanide, we are not supernatural. We are a natural occurrence within the human species to battle that which occurs unnaturally. I believe Victor Lazlo made a similar claim himself.
The things I speak of dealing with are not natural to this world in the first place. An animated corpse that drinks blood to survive is not natural to this world. A demon from another realm that is forcibly brought to it is not natural to this world. A entity of extraordinary power that has to use a human avatar to exist in our plane of existence is not natural to it. A spirit forcibly trapped in a weapon to power it is not natural to our world, nor is it humane to the spirit to leave it here. An entity that is using simple humans to gain a foothold in our world is not natural to it, and should have it's link to our world severed.
These are the things that I speak of removing, things that should not exist in our world in the first place.

Mr. DarKnyht all I was pointing out was that Mr. Crosshair MT is not of this earth and that by your definition he is to be sent back to whince he came.
Yet he is still human.
I ask only an explination of your definition of supernatural for some would view myself, Mr. KonThaak, Mr. AdamaGeist, and any others that use psionics, or magic a supernatural being?
