Well, I've been discussing plans with a lot of you folks for a few weeks, but my hands just been forced.

My little sister is scheduled to be married next month.

So we have to go with the next window. Those of you who are involved should receive messages shortly - PM or personal.

I am always ready to help, perhaps this time though, I can serve tea and play nurse for the real heroes?

Koy, well you need to get back across the ocean again quick.

The star player for the current plan is unfortunately down and out, so I'm having to create a new plan along the way.

That's part of the problem Micheal, getting close enough to see it without taking a bullet is rather hard.

So my plan actually counts on that.

Unfortunaely I have to edit it to deal with the loss of some unique abilities.

Couldn't ya just, I don't know, knock out the whole compound, and just walk out with her without harmin' anyone?

That's a pretty tall order Ben.

It's a large compound, well armed and expecting to be stormed either by the government or the forces of the devil . . . not that they differentiate between the two.

And I'm related by blood or marriage to 80% of the folks in there and we all know what happened in the Moscow theatre when they used knockout gas.

Ghost,

the long and short of it is that my half sister, who turns 14 this yer, is scheduled to be married to another fellow in the cult that I grew up in. The marriage will happen in April and the husband to be is in his 60s.

There have been plans in the works, including a failure in December that unleashed some kind of Living Nightmare with my likeness on it, but with the wedding moved up to April the time has more or less run out.

So the best plan that I had is getting changed because we won't have one of the key players and we're going to have to go and get her.

I can get in astrally and find the place I need to be to get her out. Shadow may lead me as he has been there before. then we pop in get her and poop out. Should be low to nill risk. Unless Murphy secideds to intervine.

As far as requiring LoS, could you use a Telescope or something to Teleport?

Telescope can't see through walls.

As for the Astral, that was a key part of what we tried last time. I suspect that path is going to have a few more landmines on it.

Not to be the voice of pessimissim here but what if you are left with no other option but a "WAKO" sequel Ron.

Have you simply tried walking in and just taking her out of there under the watchful eye of a few dozen ATF snipers and FBI agents?

I know the last you want is a firefight involving your family. But what if things go south again this time. Do you even have a contingy plan. I am not saying that iis is the desied outcome, but anyway this goes down, there may me collateral damage, on both sides.

Well, you could always spike the water supply with drugs, do a fly by gas spray like in "Close Encounters", or just start a fire and while everybody is running around, sneak in and grab her.

Beyond that Im out of ideas.
So good luck then.

Snipers cannot cover the inside.

Gas is possible, but they are in total control of the place, making it unlikely to work.

They wouldn't care if I had the 82nd Airborne backing me up. if I show my face they will try to put a bullet in it. If they know someoen is trying to take one of their children they would rather torch the entire compound and kill all their children to prevent it.

My origional plan aimed for, if anything went bad, I was the only one with my neck so far in the noose I might not be able to get it out in time.

Now, I have to stick my neck out further and a few others, if they are willing, are going to have to stretch a little too. So far nobody who I've told about the stretch has balked. I owe way too many way too much on this.

What has to happen has to be sudden and in such a way that they are not able to organize their resistance in any way to interfere with the snatch part of the op.

Gasing the compound won't do because 1) the resources aren't there and 2) we won't get them all.

You could electrocut the place, nothing deadly, but enoug to stun everyone for a few hours.

Anyway Ron, if this place is as fortified as you say it is, with as many gun toting religious zealots as you say,
its only a matter of time before the feds go knocking on their door.

I wish you luck gettin' back your sister Ron, and I will offer any aid I can, but this
getting ridculous. I hope you get your sis back, but these guys have to be stopped then if they as dangerous as you make them sound. I know they are your family, but you can't live on both side's of the fence. They need to be arrested and brought to justice. I don't even want to think of a worse case scenario.

If you can tell me how to round up the place in a way that will have no casualties I will gladly go to the feds with detailed information about what is in there.

At least, until the apocolypse arives, they will keep to themselves.

Unfortunately . . .

Post by Celeste Darken »

Unfortunately, Ben, they have thought of all those ramifications. Straddling the U.S. and Canada, not openly revealing weaponry, and treating it as an honest religion has deterred such action.

I would know. I have seen similar things happen among various . . . "claimed" religions of the day.
