So true. Even now I am learning things I never thought I would. I would have never had guessed that I would start becoming a student of Nordic histories two years ago.

Have you read The Kalevala yet?

I have not, too.

But it has inspired some strange behaviour among our Finnish neighbours (and, I am not talking about Finnish nationalism...).

Not in it's entirety. My patience for ancient texts is not good right now. However, I am making myself slowly get through it. I have finished Beowulf, although you can say that it is somewhat English.
