The greatest conspiracy.

New footage of JFK in Dallas released wrote:

DALLAS (Reuters) - Previously unreleased footage of John F. Kennedy's fateful motorcade in Dallas moments before he was gunned down was released on Monday, a surprising new detail in a saga that has gripped the United States for four decades.

The silent 8mm film shows a beaming Jacqueline Kennedy close up in vivid color waving to the crowd.

A group of excited bystanders -- women sporting big 1960s hairstyles -- waves to the cameraman shortly before the motorcade sweeps past.

The president's coat is clearly if briefly seen bunched up on his back -- a detail that will be scrutinized by conspiracy theorists who see evidence of a plot in, among other things, the fact the bullet wounds on his jacket and body did not appear to match.

The film was donated to the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas by amateur photographer George Jefferies and his son-in-law, Wayne Graham. It was released to coincide with the Presidents Day federal holiday.

Museum curator Gary Mack said he was not surprised Jefferies took so long to come forward.

"Everyone who captured the motorcade before the assassination thinks their pictures are unimportant. But to historians, all photos and home movies are important to possibly answer questions that will be asked in the future," he said.

Located in the former Texas School Book Depository building where Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy from a sixth-floor window on November 22, 1963, the museum is devoted to Kennedy's presidency and the events surrounding his assassination.

The footage was taken less than 90 seconds before the fatal shots were fired. The 40-second film also shows the scene of the crime the following day.

The footage is sure to be new fodder for conspiracy buffs who have long maintained Kennedy was the victim of a sinister plot orchestrated by shadowy elements in either the government, the "military-industrial complex," the Mafia or communist Cuba.

"I've already seen the footage on a conspiracy Web site -- it's interesting for the conspiracy researchers to study Kennedy's coat which appears to be bunched up on his back," Mack said.

He said since Kennedy's jacket was riding high on his back, the entry wound in his body did not match the expected position in his coat -- grist for the conspiracy mill that charges more than three shots were fired.

Investigators maintain the shooting was carried out by Oswald acting alone. The most complete and best-known film of the Kennedy assassination to come to light was taken by bystander Abraham Zapruder.

Mack said the new footage offered the best view of Mrs. Kennedy in the motorcade he had ever seen.

So why do you think he had to die?

Cause Oswald was a nut job.
Plain and simple. Ya know, that is the proble these days. Everyone is so busy lookin' for scapegoats, and tryin' t rationalize these conspiracies to bring some excitement and purpose into their hum-drum lil' lives.

Fact is, people do not like being told, this is it, these are the facts. No matter how cut & dry, black & white it is. Everyone has to add their two cents and start lookin' for facts that do not exist so they can get 15 minutes of fame.

Truth is, conspiracies are just the public fan fare equal of scapegoats and witch hunts.
People just need to deal with the fact this "this is it" end of story, pop yer prozac and go on with your life.

But to the point: Kennedy was killed by one man acting alone, for what reason, it died with Oswald. End of story.

The govenrment is he only oragnization that consistently claims Oswald acted alone - therefore you are touting your employer's line.

What happened happened, that can't be changed no matter how many conspiracy nuts you throw at it. There was no conspiracy, but everyone wants there to be one so the truth becomes irrelavent. People only want to see what they want to see, so the reponse "that I work for the Goverment" is the age old excuse that Im hiding something or covering something up or withholding evidence or plotting the assassination of Gothicfox or this that or the other.

Its like this, no matter how hard I portray the facts it will not matter; I can show video footage, have eye witness accounts, provide tons of CSI data, and a signed public confession, and that wouldn't be good enough.

I say the sky is blue; you say its paisley. This is a poitnless discussion because people are not going to beleive fact over fiction because te fiction is more believeable for some reason.

Your serve...

I always suspected it was the Chicago Mafia. That and maybe one of the Agent's Rifles misfired.

The sky is blue and no one man could have accurately fired three rounds from a bolt action rifle in the time alotted.

There was another shooter, at the grassy knoll or some other location.

Maybe if the car didn't slow down for 30 seconds the bullet would have hit Jacklyn Kennedy like it was supposed to.

I always liked that one :P

This oly proves my point what is the truth any more. Its been so distorted by half truths and fictitious BS that if (and I use the term loosely) there even was a hit on Kennedy, any real chance of proving it is out the window
due toall the fictitious BS and conspiracy nut butter spread all over this topic.

This is the same principle why we have to skulk about in back allies, clibming on dumpsters, scarin' away bums, and scalin' fire escapes older than Mosses
to get to a damn vantage point just because the public only sees and believes what they want to see and believe.

Thank God for inventin' headsets.

Or perhaps the chance to proove a hit on Kennedy was lost by putting the conspirators in charge of the investigation.

Maybe . . . after I finish that time machine so I can participate in events before I was even born.

As for the missing weapons, that bothers me quite a bit. That's why the police were checking my vault for fingerprints today.

I am reminded of a famous movie here in Russia. A Soviet apartment building manager steps through one of the tenent's time machine, and so happens that he looks just like Ivan Grozny - I think you call him Ivan the Terrible - so Ivan Grozny is in Soviet Moscow while this bumbling Soviet idiot is running the Russian empire. Quite fun.

I would weigh in on the Kennedy thing, but religion and politics are generally topics I refuse to discuss. I will say that I will not be surprised if Johnson was at least aware of the plot. We have to wait until more people are time and more time passes for the truth to be declassified, I guess.

It was made in 1973. Really funny. For some reason I cannot stop laughing every time Ivan Grozny discovers the magic of audio cassettes....

It is because of a transliteration error from Cyrllic to Latin. Try 'natalia selezneva'. In Russian there are two 'e'.. one has an umlaut and is pronounced "yo" while the other without umlaut is prounced "ye"... the last 'e' in her name is one with an umlaut.

Her Russian Wikipedia page has a couple photos, too. The bottom is from this movie we are talking about.

Anyway, nice enough looking girl I suppose. One of the early results of Stalin's eugenics program?
