There is such a thing as tact, and diplomacy, Ghost.

Only by choice.

Won’t you come back to me, Ben?

I not know why you thank to me. The vampires have the monster's nature and they cannot escape this nature unless they receive the outside assistance from somebody such as me.

You ever see the pig stop being the pig? It the very same thing with the vampire.

:? Ummm, not to sound a bit dense, but isn't CELESTE dead? I thought Eil was the reincarnation of Ms Darklyn. This is begining to really creep me out too.

BEN: You OK? I got problems going on here on West Coast, but maybe heading back East can keep me off the radar for a while. :?:

Well, I don't know, maybe its cause I'm a vampire.

Sure, I'm not one of the undead - vermin variety. Still, I am a vampire and I resent the pig reference.

Go with something cooler, like a wolf or something. Use a predator, not a porcine.

We can meet to discuss.

I do make a mean potato salad...

Anywho, stakes won't do you much good. As I said, i'm not undead.

Ghost...Kalle. Both of you, bury the hatchet, perferably not in someones head. We are here to try and help Ben.

Bear: Yes, Celeste is dead... We don't know what's going on here, but it has gone way beyond the realm of potentially funny. Most of us think it wasn't funny to begin with.

Ghost and Razor: Back down... Remember, Kalle's job is to take out monsters, and her understanding of English is admittedly--and regrettably--less than perfect. To her, a vampire is a vampire, end of story...and to be honest, Ghost, your latest escapade was a little scary, and I wasn't even there. Have you found a way to get it under control?

Kalle: Ghost isn't exactly a *vampire* per se... He soaks up peoples' emotional energy, and lives off that, similarly to the way a vampire drinks peoples' blood...but it isn't exactly the same thing. He isn't undead, as he said, and he doesn't intentionally go out to hurt people...unless he knows they need hurting. Right now, his biggest problem is that he needs to find a way to control himself when he's overcome and overfed with negative emotions...and we're working on a way to fix that.

Ben: I'm sorry... This isn't a funny joke. If you need to call someone, you know my number...

I don't want to raise any false alarms... Such things, after all, can be faked...but these posts have Celeste's emotions behind them. Eilonwy...can you not feel it as well?

This is something that I did not sense before... It's almost as if she's slowly opening up to us. That means either there is a Celeste out there, angry and trying to figure out what the hell is going on...or this is one of the most elaborate hoaxes/traps I have seen in the making, ranking up there with the Gentleman trick.

Ben... Don't get your hopes up over this. I'm...I'm afraid to trust it.

Yes, she is dead.

Passed on, kaput, shuffled of the mortal coil, kicked the bucket, bought the farm, seen her last sunrise . . .

DEAD.

I have had my mind monkeyed with enough the last while to make me doubt a lot of things, but this is one thing I do not doubt.

Also, these posts are not coming from my house.

I don’t know anymore . . .

I . . . don’t know anymore. I feel great sorrow . . . tremendous rage . . . angry frustration. Whatever this is . . . the feelings are very real. I want to help . . . but I don’t know how.

Kalle, please, I beg you, for the sake of peace here, please don't antagonize him further... Even Ron has agreed to set aside his misgivings about Ghost for the time being. If he becomes a problem, we can deal with it then...but until then, he's an ally.

kalle,

Ghost helped to save my daughter's life and his feeding habits thus far seem to be harmless.

He understands that I will end him if it turns out he is a danger to the innocent, but for now, I think he's not a problem.

But I am watching him as carefully as Bert checking for landmines, don't worry about that.
