What do you mean? Nobody knows where I am. I don't even know what state I'm in.

All I know I'm in a city with a lot of snow and at least one soup kitchen.

That's not true, Hannah. There are several people that know where you are.

Hey Koyla Bear.

You should listen to Koyla darling. He knows what he is talking about. Heck even Derik has been tracking your general location each time you post.

A good tech geek hacker is always good to have around town. :D

Anyway kiddo, if we can find you. So can the bad guys. You need to stay off the grid for awhile. If you want I can have Derik jury-rig a counter tracking system for you so that you don't get found each
time you post.

But that that me bad for us cause we wouldn't be able to track you either.

Just get back soon kiddo.

Kelly,

I would advise you that if you have "acquired" access to this sites software and / or database, that you should relinquish that access immediately.

I have more access then you or well anyone here. I can see to it that "certain people" find where you are and deal with your properly.

Forgive me if some of this is incoherent or is hard to follow. Typing into a Blackberry combined with the vagries of my recent encounter have complicated communications.

Let me start out by saying that the hard work was finally paying off. And thanks to Hannah's recent post, none too soon. I finally had a lead I could follow. Not to Hannah but to the one who might harm her. A man fitting Ron’s description had been sighted in the blight recently. I was closing in on him.

Perhaps I should have contacted the others and had them come with me. I told myself there was no time. Security had been grossly compromised and I needed to determine my next course of action. But really, I just felt that I needed to do this myself. I had some questions and only this impostor could answer them.

I rounded a corner and saw him. Several blocks away, he was pacing back and forth in front of a building. He seemed to be looking for something, but what? I couldn’t tell. He seemed to be muttering to himself.

It.

It seemed to be muttering to itself.

Slowly I began my approach. The street was abandoned except for the two of us. It’s the way I wanted it. Just the two of us. Me against the nightmare.

It didn’t pay me any mind as I closed on it.

You know, Mr. Caliburn is not someone I would personally consider attractive. But it was just plain ugly.

First I took in a deep breath. Than with a long exhale, I washed all emotion out. Now I was ready to address it. “Looking for your marbles?”

What it called me does not bare repeating here.

“No need to get insulting.” The calm in my voice was very much forced. This thing was a mad dog. And when a sane dog fights a mad one, it’s the sane dog that loses. “I happen to know a thing or two about finding things. I found you, after all.”

It’s response suggested that I was only good for one thing, and then maybe not even.

On that score at least, it was quite right.

This wasn’t going anywhere. The rational answers I was looking for simply didn’t exist here. There was no way I could beat this thing and even if I could, there didn't seem to be much point. It would just do whatever it did and reappear someplace else. Answers were the first priority and tagging it was second. There might be one answer I could still get out of it. Also, I couldn’t resist one parting shot. “You know, I asked Hannah if I could pass any messages along to you for her.”

Suddenly it’s gaze was fixed on me. Malice seemed to peel off it in waves. There was a disturbingly lucid intellect there. A cunning predator.

“She didn’t.” I shrugged. “I can only assume she felt you were... insignificant.”

That was a mistake. I realize it now. I should have just tagged the thing and moved on. That had really been the plan. Tag it electronically and let others close with and destroy it.

It moved faster than my eye could follow. Faster than I could move and I move damn fast. With a thud my back thumped against the brick wall behind me. My feet dangled above the ground. It had me by the neck. “WHERE ARE THEY?”

I’m not exactly sure how it expected me to answer it with my air cut off. Desperately I tried to pry loose it’s hands. My feet beat impotently off it’s chest. At least, I thought as I was about to die, it didn't know where Hannah was.

Then I think I blacked out. Certainly the next coherent memory I have was of me slumped on the ground, back against the wall. I swallowed and it hurt. I will be talking funny for days.

Still, I was alive. And now I knew it had no idea where Mr. Caliburn or Hannah were.

I allowed myself a small smile. That meant we were ahead of the game.

My smile faded as I realized I could no longer recall what city Hannah was in. I couldn't recall anything I had known just an hour ago about where she was. Childhood memories were beyond my grasp.

My mind has shattered and I can’t find the pieces.

Crap - Nem is screwed, and from this thread anyone can find Hannah.

If they are in trouble, I have a place they can go that is not too far away that is safe and secure. At least for now.

From what I've read, heard, and experienced about these things, couldn't It get to her anyway? She's been sheilded maybe?

You know, I find it fascinating how people consistently "lose" it, and yet have just enough enough cognizance to post this kind of babble.

Think it's a trap of some kind?

Or, in skeptic's case, a call for help?

I can find Nemesis, and take him out of the game. Temporarily at least. If anyone has his last known, send it to me.

No your not. I know that Pendragon is in charge. Or is it Ron? Might be both. But I never heard of you and you have a bad guy name Mordy.

Anyway, what is this about Nemmy finally going postal? Did Not Ron get to him?

It's not been entirely in vain, Miss Caliburn.

I'll be relaying new data shortly.

Also, we should consider an oppurtunity here.

What happens to Not Ron if their current host dies?

Re: Not at home

I don't know - it seemed to take the threat of having it die with me back when I was attacked by the thing in the toilet. (Read about it here)

But it wasn't free when that happened, so I'm not sure it applies.

Wait - you don't mean? But Nemesis is innocent in this. He's a victim.

He may be on the side of angels this one time, Miss Caliburn, but Nemesis is the furthest thing from innocent.

And he has created many victims in his life.

Maybe it's time for the good guys to get a two-for-one?

Re: Not at home

But not for this . . .this isn't some sort of arithmetic, this is a person's life.

Why do so many here jump to the idea of killing each other? My dad, Ben, Celeste, Bloodbane, Adama and a bunch of others - people debated if they should or shouldn't be killed for what they did or what they were.

But now we're talking about killing someone because they are a victim.

I thought we were supposed to be the good guys here.

You're right Hannah.

To be honest, I couldn't pull the trigger myself so it's probably wrong to suggest that others try.

This scary stuff and I don't know what to do. I just hope we don't come to regret not taking this oppurtunity.

It's just, when all this is done and assuming we all survive... what happens then? Do we let a known killer and murderer go? I'm working with them... was working with them because I saw a chance to help and maybe make a difference for once. And there seemed to be some symetry to setting one monster on another.

Now I just don't know what's what.
