Haha. That's true.

Well my meds weren't defective, something was countering their effects without any change in blood chemistry. I was back to normal about 6 hours after leaving the site, but wanted to wait for a full blood workup before I said anything. Looks like I have to pass on this site unless I find a way to work via proxy.

Remote video hook up?

Seems only Kei affected so? At least I not feel anything, but when she made the explosion. I was busy with the site security to notice much inside the camp.

Kei, any news about my Zippo? Some other things go missing or were moved to another place without my permission, but I not care too much about the things, but I care much about the Zippo.

Sorry me for my English :(

Kolya, I prepared documents related to your request. I bring them to your HQ already so you can look there. They still try to hire me full time. Maybe I make it. Krilova encourages me to make it. But I not know still.

Don't worry about your English, Kalle, I'll bet he can understand your Russian even less. If someone wants to complain about your English, they had better be prepared to start speaking your native tongue, too. This site is based in an English speaking nation, but it has world-wide ties. I personally don't expect everyone to speak with flawless English because of this.

More than a few of our native english speakers aren't exactly flawless either.

Kalle what were you doing going through teh hardware components on my field archive? I found your zippo inside the case! At least I found it before I powered the system up and shorted a very expensive piece of equipment.

And destroyed a perfectly good zippo. :D

Are you sure she did?

by Kei Nakamura
No I can not say for certain that she did, it is just the most logical possibility, I never said it was the only possibility. It does raise a bad question for me If Kalle was not in the system (if she was thats fine, just let me know next time so I can make sure to fully de-energise the system before anyone look inside)

If no-one opened the case then I need to have some people with experience with sigils, wards, and seals investigate the outer chassis, because nothing should be able to pass through the outer case without

1. being a data stream passing through a wire
2. Destroying the case on its way through, or
3. having someone open the case

I thought that was a theoretical impossibility.

They're making indestructable lighters now?

If her contract did now allow her to open hardware, she did not open hardware. I can speak for Katja with confidence, but I will let her speak for herself.

Zippo lighters are extremely tough.

Katja's is tougher; I doubt it was destroyed.

I was make the site security. I not touched any hardware and opened none from them, too. It not part of my job to make such a thing. I not know how the Zippo went there. Please return it.

Do I need to remind everyone that things were being moved randomly at the site?
I don't think Katja put the zippo in your field archive.

Is it possible there was a Gremlin or something running around too?

Posted: Sun Jul 15, 2007 6:44 pm
by Kolya
If there was it found a way through Kei's hardware to the vulnerable insides.

That's what gremlins *do*.

by Kolya
If there is technical/mechanical protection, sure, but magical protection is out of their realm.

I don't think it was a Gremlin doing whatever was going on at the dig site, for the simple reason of if it had been one or more of them for that matter we would have been having more problems than we were.
Things went missing but were found later mostly, not things broke down or were trashed.
Not your typical Gremlin MO.

Gremlins break stuff, not steal it.

They also like setting up chains of disasters.

"She turns the computer on, it fries and the lighter explodes, the fireball..."

Creative little scum.

Still doesn't feel like the work of Gremlins thou.

Prolly not. Just pointing out the possibility.

It is an interesting thing that happened.
Sounds more like poltergeist than gremlin to me.

I'd buy that for $1.
