Think it's a trap of some kind? Or, in skeptic's case, a call for help? What about me? Sorry, looks like I kinda missed al of it. But I'm always a little skeptical myself about these bizarre sorts of posts. Sometimes I wonder myself if theres nothing wrong with them, and they just want attention. I...

_____ Hi Mister . . . oh, wait, does that mean I shouldn’t call you Mr. Nemesis? Are you a girl? Golly, I’m sorry. Were you in disguise? I heard of a girl that pretended to be a man. She had to do that for some reason. Maybe because she was in danger or had to find something out. I don’t know. ____...

“There is no light as a vampire,” I censured acerbically, ripping off my glasses and tossing them so hard against the carpeted floor I heard something crack. “ This was my price paid to regain my humanity,” I stared blindly in his direction. “ This was the least of that price. This is the result of...

You know, I find it fascinating how people consistently "lose" it, and yet have just enough enough cognizance to post this kind of babble.

Has anybody checked at their homes? Yea I did. A few lived alone, a few had families. The ones that lived alone, the neighbors sometimes do or don't miss 'em, depending on the person. The ones with family ties are the same: some are concerned, some couldn't care less. In short, it's still like they...

Disappearing Sick

I'll take Joe's suggestion and start a new thread about this thing. One of the biggest problems is that we can't officially report it as an outbreak or an epidemic, because nobody's "died." They just disappear. Vanish. One minute they're ill, running a fever, shaking with the chills, vomit...

I'm agreeing with skeptic on this. Lazlo intended this place to be a ground for serious-minded study, not light-hearted goofs. There is a time and place for laughter, I know. And there are people who use humor as their defense mechanism. I'm not one of them. I'm sure Holister understands this. But b...

Hey, we all have to sometime. I'm not afraid to admit it. Most people on these boards though, they seem to "cool" to own up to it.

Guess it's one reason I'm not actually with Lazlo Society, just helping where I can.

Re: Hunting Vamps

I have never encountered monsters being so blatant. In either personal experience nor in Middle Eastern lore, monsters try to hide their activities, almost obsessively so. Did you see any indications of other monsters who were tracking these ghuls, perhaps to quiet them? Then again, I am new to thi...

I'd offer to help, but we've been having a strange bout with flulike symptoms, so I'm on call just about every other minute. At first I just thought it was the H1N1. Only, these guys "vanish." Sort of like the Vaporizing Flu.

Yeah, right. If that exists. I'm checking avenues.

A note to all you hunters; killing a Carrier, is technically considered MURDER in most of the country. Okay. So? I was thinking more along the lines of "why," myself. As in, "Why are you relating all this, Holister?" And "Should we be worried that it looks like you're tryin...

All I know is, I've seen "sane" people commit horrific crimes and then later try to plead insanity simply to try to get out of jail time when they knowingly commited the crime and then later bragged about it to freinds.

Re: Hunting Vamps

The fight was more of a guerilla warfare ensemble on both sides. Shadows became as thick as blood, and in turn, the blood became as thick as shadows. Seven of our hunters to three of the bloodsuckers wasn't a good ratio to start with. Had it even been one of theirs to our seven, I still wouldn't con...
