August Sky 2008 - eek!

Shout out to Leos round the world. Europe as a whole will be on holiday... yea right. Not a lot of events, but they're really powerful ones.
- August 1 - New Moon and total solar eclipse. Of course solar eclipses only possible during New Moon. Northern Canada into Greenland, Siberia, Mongolia, and central China will experience the total eclipse; a partial eclipse will be experienced in most of Greenland, Europe, and Asia. Sorry for my friends in the States; there's no love for you, at least not visually. But I wouldn't worry about that if I were you...
- August 15 - Neptune at opposition. Enjoy this beautiful Blue Planet, if you have a really powerful telescope, of course. Otherwise, enjoy the surging nexus points and world's finest members seeking to exploit them and the supernasties these events unleash on the planet.
- August 16 - Full Moon. And a partial lunar eclipse which only happen on Full Moons, of course. Again my friends in the States get gipped; those in South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia will get to view the show. Werewolves and arcanists delight!

I'll make sure to keep these days free on my planner.

Although no one seems to know it, I actually have a sense of humour.
But this isn't funny. You might be on to something.

Damn, we never get total solar eclipses over here...and I was passed out from exhaustion at the last lunar eclipse. Gipped time and time again...

August 1, Siberia. I really hope we know where all the nexus points are...

At least it's really difficult to build and maintain Siberian cults, and hopefully the mere difficulty of getting to these places prevent the mages.
Of course I know better than that. There are Siberian cults and not every requires a road to get around.
I hope you're correct, Kolya.

Looks like we might have an eventful 2 weeks.

Last time we were in Siberia we didn't see a road for 100s of miles. Of course, the Soviets never built roads to nexus points. Worrying about what comes through them was enough of a pain in the ass, nevermind the puny little human scum trying to exploit the energy for ritual magic and whatnot.

I dunno, from what I understand, Stalin took the occult almost as seriously as Hitler, I bet he was interested in having roads that he could drive his tanks up to the nexus with - just in case.

I shouldn't really talk about it too much.
Those roads were either taken up after Stalin died or he didn't know where all the nexus points are. I've been to uh more than one lets say and none from them had roads. Of course they were reachable by aircraft in fairly short order... so maybe didn't need roads. I don't know

Perhaps that's the real reason Stalin wanted the Tu-4.

I don't know anything about airplanes except I Tu-4 has (had?) an AWACS version.

It's a bomber aircraft, based on some American bombers that emergency landed after bombing runs on Japan. You probably seen them just don't know their name. Although the Bear may be more well known internationally. I'm not really up on this topic, I have to admit.

Tu-4 Bull is a direct copy of the B-29 Superfortress that diverted to Russia after attacking Japan - USSR's first nuclear capable bomber.

I'm not a fan of aviation.
Tu-95 is the Bear aircraft I mentioned. "It's still in service, that helps with recognition haha." Thanks Lyosha.

Summon the Devil?
No way, too much competition.

I don't think either of you appreciate the seriousness of this situation. She's just nervous. I don't know what your fucking problem is though.
That's why I got so pissed off. I would like to see a more dedicated effort of getting explanations and answers.
Less jokes. More work.

Don't push me , I'm trying to maintain a calm air, despite all that is happening.

I don't see anything happening.

Maybe, but you're doing the right thing.
