WOO-HOO!!!

Sorry I've been as quiet as I have been, lately, folks... I've been studying like a madman to get my A-Class CDL learner's permit. (It only takes a C-Class non-CDL to drive what I currently do.)

A lady at work has been hounding me to get it done; it sounds like they really want big-rig drivers at work, so I've been working my butt off to get it done. Today, I took the day off from work, and passed all the necessary tests! On the first try, even! ^______^

So, yeah, hopefully I'm not too late to get in the door. Wish me luck!

Minor setback: The lady who's been corresponding with me about this promotion was supposed to call me today, and didn't. I'm hoping that's just because she was busy and didn't get around to it, but it may also mean that I took too long getting my permit, and that I won't be driving the big trucks anytime soon...

I'm sure that's all it was, KT, but if it turns out to have been more, you know you can call either myself or Logos, or even swing by either of our places, if you need to chat for a while. I'm confident, though, that it'll work out.

Thanks, guys. Found out today that the lady in question is just really, really busy right now.

Congratulations.
I may be able to help you out a little financially if you do not mind slightly "dangerous" cargoes. My regular carrier had one of their drivers stick around after delivering some heavy equipment to a testing range I have access to. Due to teh damage caused when the containment failed, that carrier will no longer do business with me citing the impotance of the "well being" of their drivers and vehicles. The fools don't even comprehend that partical acceleration coils are 100% harmless, inert matter untill you apply very large amonts of electricity.

Actually, I'll still be employed with UPS. ^^;

I don't think he's going to make any drops in the company truck Kei.

Maybe, but at least I had the good grace not to say it out loud. One of the rare times I hold back.
