You think that that is going to happen?

When I first read this title, I thought your referring to the espionage like grid, like when agents "go off the grid".

Nope, different sort of grid.

That it does.

Not anytime soon, but maybe this weekend... Maybe. Doubtful, but it's more probable than some weekday when I'm out for 10 hours on the road in triple-digit heat, and near-100% humidity, running my ass off.
If/when it happens, this is near the top of my "to-do" list. If Lex runs off to her doll meet this weekend.

So the doll meet - is Lex taking the dolls or are they taking Lex?

That was really smooth.

Well they talk and fight evil, so I though it was an important question.

It suddenly occured to me to ask which kind of dolls exactly.

The ones that KT and his Wife live with (Ownership is obviously not the right term)

I went over to KT's and Lex's place a few times (they live not too far from me). I met the "dolls". Interesting to say the least.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball-jointed_doll
That kind of dolls. "Asian ball-jointed dolls", also just called BJD's for short. They're hand-made, personalizable...and I don't know if it's through the creation process or just the fact that they were in *my* house for a prolonged period of time (we've yet to witness other peoples' dolls with quite the level of consciousness that Lex's have), but they seem to have souls.
But in my experience, that seems to be the case more with hand-made objects that the creator and user feel strongly about than with factory-made objects. But...I have noticed that when BJD owners who don't believe in inanimate objects having souls, their dolls are more dormant...whereas those of us who know otherwise have more conscious dolls.
As to your question, Ron...it's more of a mutual thing.

Kind of like believers in supernatural experience it more than those that don't

KT, have you got any pictures of the exact dolls? That and are they made from resin or from the traditional porcalin?

Why do they freak people out? If they give bad vibes . . . why am I not receiving them?

Well you probably have to get a bit closer to them.

We used to have an entire roomful of them when I was a little girl. Maybe that’s been a factor? I’ve always been comfortable around them.

KT told me when I first showed up at his place that they're nice to someone who's got good intentions, but they're pretty accurate about weeding out the baddies.
Sorry, James.
