Just don't food poison me.
Or prepare me lobster.
Or overcook the steaks.
That should about it.

No clue - though all things considered, I'm not sure Bert should be issuing invatations over open chnnels right now.

It'll probably be towards the end of August guys so it cools off a bit but the ocean temp will stil be good for swimming.

Mmmm, lobster sounds good. Have it with a side of happiness, excitement and drunken fun. Yummy.
:D
Damnit, being an empathic vampire sucks. :x

A WHAT!?! Uh you may want to stay clear of things till you explain that and Rain is found. Also such statments are not going to make people want to deal with you.

Sorry, should have been more clear. It's one of my less liked abilities I seem to have inherited from Belladrox. I feed on other peoples emotions. As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to harm anyone. Well, at least not yet.

Okay Konrad - you're coming nowhere near me or my daughter.

So long as Mr. GhostSpider has an appetite for happiness and excitement I see no need to fear him now if he gains an appetite for fear, sorrow, and the like then he should seek help in ridding himself of the power.

That's probably a good idea Ron. The emotions of a child are so pure and unadulterated. I try to avoid them now. It's just too intense to feed off of them.

Oh, and when I say feed, its more of a kind of skimming off the top. Absorbing the ambient energy of the emotion, is what i've learned from my studies.

I'm not doing it for your sake.

I don't care what kind of food you prefer, you still are a self admitted vampire.

So he literally feeds on "the warm fuzzies" that so many people get when they help people. So what?

Perhaps rather than condemn it, you should find a way to encourage a good outlet for it. Firefighters, police, social workers, how many of the people that help people proffessionally do it for the money? Ghostspider, you might want to try a social service type profession for a day job, gratitude is a very strong emotion, although in most people it is quick to fade.

Ron, i'd be terribly surprised if you did it for my sake.

Kei, i'm afraid a day job is out of the question. I'm still bonded with Karlash, which means his curse is still in full effect.

We could try a lobotomy.

What is its curse, exactly?

Explain to me more about karlash's curse.

I have dealt with those who feed on the emotions of those around them. Ghostspider, do you know if it is a dietary requirement, needed for survival or something more like "the best damn drug you could ever try"? The latter was how a subject that was brought in for study from an asylum described it, unfortunately that person had chosen the wrong choice of emotions to become addicted to.

I would greatly like to work quite closely with you on this, such is actually a very rare thing to be able to study, I will send you more by PM that I think I will keep off the public board for the time being.

Looks like they have the same special place in your heart that beligerent close minded people who are unwilling to accept anything other than a physical solution have in mine.

No, I hate rune weapons unconditionally.

Then yes koyla, we are talking about the same pit.

That's good, I guess.

Because I have no idea what you're on about.

Karlash's curse is simple:his wielder must always be on crusade, fighting evil wherever it appears. Simple enough, except for the fact that I can not stay in anyone place for more than two weeks. Should that happen, Karlash becomes something akin to a supernatural beacon. Any supnats in the area, especially evil ones, are drawn to the beacon.

As to the emapthic feeding, i'm not sure how it works. The only thing I have to go on is how it worked for Belladrox. For him it was a dietary requirement, and while I don't believe that it was like a drug to him, he was very much the connesieur of different emotions. As for me, well I know that it is not like a drug, but i'm not entirely sure whether it is a dietary requirement for me.
