The summer of '79

We knew the job was gonna be odd when one of the PIB guys gave the briefing, as they only get involed in wetworks when the target(s) are special, and my team only dealt with what would be today considered a "clear and present danger". At least we knew that with the PAB runnin the show we would have very few rules of engagement to follow.
"There is a small situation up in New Jersy boys." the briefing agent said. "Oh great, so the jersy devil is trying to take over the country " Was Johnston's only comment. "Well not quite but you did get the pinebarrens part right, there have been a few too many dissapearances in the area, and the investigation team lost most of its men, all of whom are bableing about wolves that walk upright. You guys get to go in and take them out. Looks like Lycans, not sure of the count, minimum 3 unkown maximum. good luck."
As we looked around at eachother, letting the words sink in, thinking about the disasterous way the last mission went that had such great intell ended we all made our peace, just like every job before and every job after.
Tanto (he never did speak much, never did get his name) just daubed on some color to his face (big navajo was quiet and eficient, I miss him), and nodded "My people know of the skinwalkers and how to fight them."
Johnston, had to put his own two cents in of course, "We'll I 'll be damned he can talk."
At this time our handler came in and told us the van was loaded and ready, we were to move out within the hour. seems a politicians daughter had gone AWOL in the area and we were to resolve the lycan issue before the girl got hurt.
