So, how was your Solstice?

Starting this thread so everyone can report on Solstice activities.
My Solstice was quite interesting. First of all, we had that flare of energy at the site when Kei detonated her mapping charges. The energy levels have returned to normal, but I still feel juiced.
Another interesting occurence has been with my artifact (still have not found anything on it ). It seems to have been supercharged, or perhaps it has just been fully recharged. Whatever is up with it, it is now glowing quite brightly and I keep getting the feeling that there is more to its use than just teleportation. Maybe one of the books in my new collection will have the answers.

I felt the surge, too. I mean I felt the surge of the energy. It snaked through me like the lightining... the lightining that last for 30 minutes. I never felt such sensations before.

This stuff doesn't do shit to me.
I get more energy from a can of Mt. Dew.

Mm, I got an energy surge. It was delicious. =P
I'm saving it in crystals for now. This weekend, I'm going after Ben's soul. I'm pretty sure I can get it; just wish me luck I don't drag something else back along with him.
I'll need a fresh supply of dry-erase erasers when we're all done, too.

Fairly quiet in my part of the world. The dreams must have been just that, dreams.

Possibly something happened to avert them, too...but yeah, here's hoping they're just dreams.
My mother gets prophetic dreams, from time to time... She hadn't said anything about anything like that, so I was hoping they were just dreams. She also says that usually, you can tell when a dream is prophetic. It has the feel of being more than just a dream.
Her general rule of thumb has usually been, "If you have to wonder, it probably isn't."

It had the right feeling, as if I had been pulled into another reality, but it didn't pan out. Hopefully you are correct and it was averted.

Hi everyone,
In my hosue Solstice wasn't a day, it was a person!
Hannah
PS: Celeste is back - just don't call her Celeste.

Sometimes folks name their children after astronomical phenomena.
And muscle cars.

But Celeste is so much easier to say than Eilonwy.

True but I think she is trying to put some distance between her old life and her new one. As she sort of is a new person now, it is fine by me.

I think I can get used to it.
As for saying it though, we'll see when I get to DC, I suppose.

I knew a girl that woke up with a Welsh accent. I gues she could say it easily?
No stroke. Nothing.
Completely unexplained.

Can I just call her Ellie?
Probably be better than butchering her name.

You'd better ask her that.

Seems a lot's been happening for nothing happening, huh?
No big deal for me, I just snuck out of the house for a while. I found a bar around the corner from where I'm staying, and I managed to get some guys to pay for drinks. After a while, I was feeling real good, so I tried to get home, but I forgot how to get back. Fortunately, I met a guy who helped me get home, said something about not drinking too much, or drinking and driving, or something like that. I don't remember this part all that well. This morning, Will started screaming about not leaving without telling him. The whole "he doesn't want me to get killed" stuff again. I was just having fun, who got hurt?

He worries about you, Angel... Maybe too much sometimes, but he's trying to look out for you. Next time you go out for a drink or five, set up some means to get home before you forget how again. ^^;
My younger brother knew a guy who got that drunk, once... He woke up in a strange kitchen, with a Post-it stuck to his chest that read, "We don't know who you are, but when you wake up, we'd appreciate it if you left, please." He's lucky they didn't call the cops on him.

I knew a guy in high school who always went to parties on the weekend and got really piss-ass drunk the first day. He didn't even know about what he did until the following Monday, when his friends would tell the whole school. Once, he got half of his body hair shaved off, and didn't even know it. I wish I had been in his gym class!

That sounds exactly like a strange beast I put down a while back. For months that sort of thing happened to him. Wake up covered in mud, sleep all day, bla bla bla.
Turns out, some weird disease resembling but exactly werewolfism.

maybe I should have REALLY worried about him, then.

For now its Eilonwy, and she doesn't like to be called Celeste.

She was rather firm on that point.

I got the message that she doesn't want to be called Celeste. I'm just asking to call her Ellie, as to avoid any embarassing pronunciation errors.

I will ask her what she is willing to deal with, as to not have her name butchered.

I hope you are taling about elfs and not a long night of guzzling Latvian homebrew and stumbling across a transient goblin.
