Okay folks, I know I've been quiet for a while. I've had my reasons. However, I just had something happen that I cant stay quiet about.

My buddie, Crab is in trouble. He's over in Louisianna and he ran into the walking dead kind of trouble. Called me on my cell yesterday, but I wasn't home to post this. Currently, he's at, or near Lafayette.

He reported in a Class 2 outbreak, which is around 100 zombies. Yes, zombies. Crab's got some experience, so I know he can hold out for a while, but even if he doesn't thats not entirely my concern. I'm more worried about containing the situation. Is anybody free to help clean up this mess?

If I can deal with what I am currently working on, I will be free. However, it is going to be a few days and that is assuming that I am not injured by what I am hunting.

As for anyone else, we seem to be stretched fairly thin at the moment.

Turns out there's some team down there working the site already. Its either government or corporate. Lots of Suits around there. They've got some firepower and have been sweeping the area. They aren't bothering with survivors.

Least thats the update that Crab gave me when he called me over the phone. Mentioned getting shot at by some wierd looking bus, as he called it.

Zombies? Very exciting.

Getting to the States not too big problem for me. Let's talk.

Hmm? My team and I are currently in the midst of things, but I can have another team there to help out in short order. I for one want to know who this group Crab told you about is, and also what they are doing?

Anyway, yeah, I'm wondering who this group is too. Sounds like they have excellent funding which probably means government group.

Could they be the same group that I had the joy of dealing with a week ago? They seemed fairly keen on killing anything that would spook the american public.

Well, that is the stuff they couldn't capture and study first, although I think usually those things end up the same as the first ones.

Oh, and in reference to The Guide... yeah Crab pretty much has it memorized, if he doesn't own a copy. We discussed strategies for such a situation many many times. I just hope the suits leave him be.

Alright, I finally have some closure on this issue. Crab is dead.

Turns out the cell-phone he jacked from one of the Suits down there had a locator beacon in it. They all do. So while he was killing zombies, they were after him. They were the ones responsible for releasing the zombies in the first place. Some sort of bio-weapon experiment, they were probably calling it.

Anyway, he managed to round up a bunch of the zombies up, but suits showed up and set them free. Crab managed to get his hands on some of their weaponry and explosives and managed to take most if not all of them out. However, he also perished in the esuing explosion.

I'm sorry to hear that. He was a good guy from what I knew of him.

Thank you for your concern, guys. I kinda figured out as much a while back when he suddenly went complete radio silence, and I didn't feel his presence after a certain point. Nothing to be had for it now.

Now, as for this group of suits, and what they are up to... I think this needs to be looked into, one way or another. Something is up, I don't like it, and if they aren't helping, and instead are creating/controlling these things, that bodes ill for everybody.

Yeah, kinda the same storry for me too, since I'm on the other side of the country right now. I'm in Indiana at the moment.

I don't see many cults running around in business suits, in such a situation. Especially ones that are dressed in standard government type suits.

Much less ones that sport military-grade hardware, as well as customized vehicles for the work they were doing. However, Nazi Germany was not the only government to experiment with the supernatural, and the occult. The US has done its fair shair, as well as a number of other world powers, such as... Russia, anybody?

I have some experience with the US Special Projects, having dealt with them and been trained by a former member of one of their teams. Also, one of the people I have encountered here has some connection with the NSA, and similar projects.

Anyway, any ideas on which group might be doing something as stupid as experimenting with Zombies.

By the way, who all here have a copy of the Zombie Survival Guide, or have read it at one point?
