Captured; kind of.

This "gentleman" may be more of a threat to us than we thought. (Well played by the way, well played)

Unlike Dym, the gentleman does not manipulate pawns, he manipulates players.

Unlike the Dark Voice, he actually knows how to play the game.

Unlike Jerimiah Dark, he is calculating and patient, with no need to tip his hand early.

I was doing some investigation into this "gentleman". He has a nice spread in the Vermont Mountains. My guess is 25-35 rooms in the main house, 1-3 rooms per "guesthouse" (there were 4 of them on teh grounds) a good size garage (5-10 long haule trucks could fit dependign on trailer size). Electronic scanners went off as soon as I entered the property line, lots of security devices scattered around, if there are any "proactive" security measures I did not see them or their triggers. Anyway, when I slid through the window on the top floor, I found that the attice has a large amount of hunting memorabilia in it. After a few hours of working my way downstairs, I did find the meeting room. The big chair at the head of the table was empty, the computer in front of it was unprotected. Logging in to the system I was not surprised to see my name on the system. What was a surprise however was how complete the dossier on me was. Just as I was readying to download the files to my portable I heard the sound of a firearm being loaded as I was spoken to, "Check and Mate Ms. Nakamura, I have been expecting you."

The room I am locked in is comfortable (bordering on ostentatious) but rather boring. The only access I have to the world right now is my PDA and it's very slow here. No access to my archives, or my stored research.

Will someone please get me out of here so I can get back to work?
Thank you, and do be carefull this one is smart, not merely ferally cunning.

Are you alright Kei? He's not mistreating you is he?

You'd better not lay one finger on her head you bastard!

Physicaly the conditions are fine, other than it may take a while to get used to library basements and cold floors after this.

Otherwise, he is mistreating me in the worst possible way. I have contacts that are not hearing from me, and many projects that this detainment is putting well behind schedule. On top of that, the only access I have right now to any colligues is this painfully slow pda connection, had to modify to use the cell carrier signal, then took longer to find which network he uses here, but I am able to get word out - for now.

On top of that, my archives are unattended right now, and I was already under a 10 month backlog for the input.

I repeat will one of you GET ME OUT OF THIS HELLHOLE?

Ms Nakamura,

You will not be going anywhere soon, I assure you. My servant has laid out more appropriate attire for you. I will also not revoke your limited access to the outside world; do not make me regret my magnanimity.

Looks like I got back into fighting trim just in time.

Yes, good thing indeed. Do not make it too easy Mr. Caliburn.

Ahh good, so you do make mistakes. I may have limited mobility and access, but you can expect trouble from me. I love an oppenent who fights on two fronts. Ever read Sun Tzu? I will admit, your ploy to catch me was well played, and your people that covered your tracks to get me curious did a wonderfull job, just enough left for me to find this place, well done.

Let's move this up to the next level shall we? I will not wear that silly fluffy thing around. If you insist on my wearing your "ladies" clothing try for something sleek and elegant, black evening gowns, and other such. If not wear puffs and frills.

If you are trying to make me comfortable, I would like my jumpsuit back. Barring that, get me a business pantsuit.

Oh and if you insist on keeping me captive, you do realize that I will become much more of a hassle than you anticipated, do you not?

Oh and tell the guard down the hall from camera six to quit sleeping on shift.

You figure out how I tapped the security feed, and what else I can do.

Now, now Kei, remember to leave something for Ron.

Given my limited mobility, and the guards on duty, I doubt I will be a physical threat, but there are other ways.

Just stay in touch, I'll see how I can help.

And Mr. "Gentleman", I need you to get me a nuerosurgeon, so that I can explain something to him and get my medication soon, it is very, very bad when I go off my medication.
Three a day, nine doses left. Tick Tock.

Ms. Nakamura, I have already had your clothing burned. If you want your medication you will dress as is appropriate for a lady. As an added incentive I am going to slowly lower the temperature in your room until you acquiesce.

Once you are appropriately attired we will have tea.

Kei, I never got to thank you for the equipment you sent me. It was a great help in unencrypting and translating the texts Ghost sent me. It is currently running as a server for me to access for additional processing power while on the road.

Check your PM's, I have some additional information for you.

Proper lady? What are you, a Mormon, a Quaker, or some other variety of evolutionary throwback?

The lady doesn't *ahem* want your clothes, you slob! Just get her something similar to what you burned and get her the medicine.

You're not classy at all, you just *ahem* just like to have the appearance of class!

Very well, Mr. Gentleman. 3 a day, 6 doses left. Tick, Tock.

Hope you don't mind when things start going wrong, as I said things get very, very bad when I go off my medication.

Three a day, two pills left Mr. Gentleman. The risk is yours to take but I realy do think it would be in your best interest to get me my medication, bad things start to happen when I am off of my medication.

Gentleman, give her the medication! To deprive her of this would be to hurt a woman. What happened to all of your endless chivalry? She's too proud to wear the clothes you offered her, it goes against what she stands for, so depriving her of medication because she can't comply with your demands is the same as killing her outright.

Just out of curiosity, exactly what happens when you are without your medication?

Oh, Logos, such a friend but you misunderstand the nature of my medication. It is to protect other people rather than myself. But if this "Gentleman" wants to take his chances, well I may be responsible for his woes, but at least I warned him.

Might get into the case notes on my first case study for supernatural happenings when I get back to my archives.

I will be fine without my medication, even if I seem a little "odd" without it.

Ms. Nakamura, did I ever seem the type to not exaggerate when she feels it necessary? fine or not, it's cruel to deprive someone of medication they take, and while I don't know what condition you have, I do know that screwing with someone's brain is wrong. So is murdering, and hunting people, though, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

Good evening all. It would appear that I skipped my dosage at lunch. So sorry, mr Gentleman, about your butler, I do hope the stains come out of the carpet and wallpaper. if you usee a spatula you might recover enough to bury. Do come and visit me soon, bad things have started happening, and i am saving my last doses so my rescuers don't get spread across teh walls like a pate.

I should be relatively easy to find by enyone making entry into the building that has thermal sensors or EMF detectors, running about 110 degrees (no one is sure why it doesn't kill me) and probably teh highest strength EMF generator on the property. alternatively, find the hall where the lights ar flickering and look for the light that is out.

now, mr. Gentleman, are you willing to get me my medications, or will more "bad things" happen? I will capitulate this far - if the medication is set at teh end of the hall (should be safe), and my door unlocked, I will go straight to the pills, pick them up and come straight back to my room. No need for your servvants to keep dying over our little argument.

Something in my head has been crossed ever since puberty, the nuero peptides that controll the conversion of sugars to energy in my nervous tissue don't stop producing, unless medicated. Although I become smarter, as well as all of the odd things that happen around me when I am off my medication, I lose anything resembleing patience, something about those same peptides having an influence on the brain's agression centers.

Gentleman, for someone with a sense of honor shouldn't you be doing all you can do to care for your prisoners? It is not a tough request, give the lady her medication.

I am currently running an experiment. I knew about her condition before I even captured her. A true gentleman is a student of all things.

So is that an experiment on how long one can live when a very aggressive female with what sounds like uncontrolled psi-abilities comes for your head?

Hardly. As it stands now I'm using her to charge up some rather large batteries.
