I want this to be the Official list for all those fallen. I know there have been others but I would like this one sticked. Please send PM’s with any other names. Please limit the names to those of society members. If they are non-society members please include a short description as to why they should be honored.
We might not get a wall to honor our dead, but we will not forget those that have served.

I agree with Fate. This post should be made sticky
to commemorate the fallen soldiers of this Shadow War we fight.

To the fallen I give a final salute. They died holding the line against the darkness. Heroes, all of them.
For those whose voices have fallen silent, but who have not yet been taken, may all the forces of Light guide you on your path, wherever it may lead.

Looking at the lists, I realize that I am new enough to this society that I have known none of the aforementioned. These men, women, soldiers and scholars have given their lives for the cause that I am still learning, still very unknowledgeable of, and still getting over the initial constant fear and self doubt that I imagine everyone here has felt after their first encounter with the supernatural. And so, even without knowing these fellow seekers of a safer world, I want to give my deepest respects.

Thanks Tony, you're absolutely right.
Raise your glasses to Victor Lazlo ladies and gents. Not the first to stand against the dark, but probably the first to put his rep on the line to try and get the message out. Here's hoping that we've built something he would be proud of.

I really wish I had known Dr. Lazlo. When I first heard of his work I dismissed him as a lunatic with crackpot theories. Then one of his theories killed my entire squad and almost me too.

I think the changes I made to the statuses post should make it clear who is what.

I knew the things were real before I herd of Dr. Lazlo . . . but things made a lot more sense after reading his words.

Me, too, even though I was fighting things for a few years before coming across something he had described. Then again, I have not read everything he ever wrote, too.

Regretably, his work has often been short on the specifics about critters and long on theory about the nature of reality and ley lines. But still, things make a lot more sense after reading his work.

Yea, and it's difficult to study a corpse when there isn't one.

Anybody heard from Ellijah Sight since December? He's a fairly intermittant poster but it's been almost 6 months.

Yes, yes, and it is about to fuckin' explode. Lots of Russian names soon.
That is assuming anyone is going to actually miss Nicolai Ivanovich and his band of merry men and that little skank they kept around to help keep their "morale" up....

I seriously doubt it.
Here lies the blackened bones of the crazy brave who stood against the darkness, and got fuckin' smoked like the piss ant losers they were.
