Here is a link to the most accurate translation I have found yet of the shinto legends regarding teh rise of teh Kami, and their human decendants. (note, it is a little confusing as the translator did not have a perfect grasp of teh language, and used literal translation for names and everything else.)

Finally got settled down enough here to take a read.

Interesting.

Hannah's re-read it about a dozen times already.

Ah, I am glad you like it. I found the scrolls with teh information in a lost shrine, buried in the snow 3/4 of the way up Mt. Fuji. I was unaware it had been translated - did the idiot use babelfish or something?

I will see what I can do about getting a better translation.

From what I hear, Hannah reads a lot adult-level mythology and such things. We got the Sacred Texts CDs all over the place here, Natasha probably has every version ever published, but I just cannot get into it.

Yeah, Hannah seems to have a knack for it, especially the Celtic stuff, she almost knows the myths before she finishes them.

Hi Everyone,

The language is rather strange but the stories are interesting. I just wish I could talk to Shang Li about them.

Hannah

PS: I miss Shang Li.

he was to say the least, an excellent fighter, and a brilliant philosopher. I know him only through reading the things he has said, and reading of his exploits, and it's really a shame that I never had the chance to truly meet this man.

Hi Everyone,

It was nice to see Shang Li again. I talked with him a lot while Shadow was tryin' ta figure out where ta go.

Hannah

PS: I tried to avoid askin' him the implications to his philosphy that he was still there in the land of the dead.

Was Mr. Li bhuddist, or shinto in his belief?

If he was shinto he would probably be looking for his living relatives and those that pay him respects, that he may watch over them - that is the origin of the ancestor kami, in their beliefs.

The Bhuddist doctrine states that there is a bit of time while the spirit cleanses it's self in order to be born again.
