Poltergeist

Sorry for my silence. We have been busy, as most of you know.

While we were in the cave, a poltergeist came through the portal as well as all those creatures, but I did care about a poltergeist at that time. Well the damn thing got lost in the cave and now has lost its normal good sense of humour. It was in such a foul mood when I found it that it was actually willing to do anything I told it in exchange for leading it out of the cave.

I had been mapping the remeaining passages of the cave looking for anything that might be related to our investigation. Roma is becoming quite the caver.

So then I sent it home and it went without trouble. No double crossing. Nothing. Straight home. Of all the poltergeists I dealt with, this one had the most personality. Like fish, one in a million poltergeists has some character.

Not a terribly exciting story, I know, but I need to stall a bit before diving into some of this operations planning I have to get done.

I guess a poltergeist could break off a stalactite and jab you in the eye with it, huh? But not much to throw around in a cave. Pile being lost on top of that. Yea, I would be pissed too.

At least he was promptly ushered away from the ptotential to do harm.

I hate insubstantials . . . I much prefer dealing with stuff I can shoot or stab.

Such is Sasha's way. Eventually it gets into the soul or whatever, makes a man weird - or in Sasha's case, weirder.

Like he said, too, usually these entities do not go away by choice.

Intrestingly enough I have encountered a few Poltergeists that had character, and a few that in their own way were friendly? Well at least to the families that they had bonded to and their friends. But if you wished to harm any of that family, well think a spectral Attack dog. However other than that it acted fairly resonable. Oh in case any one is wondering these situations are checked on frequently, and the only ones to recive injury were a would be thief, and a would be Rapist that went after a a young lady who lived next door to one of these families. Neither one fared very well but they survived. I will also point out these are very rare cases.

Deal with these things long enough, you run into a few like that.

Thanks for sharing, too. Sasha loves "ghost" stories.

I seriously not know anyone who encountered more ghosts than Sasha.

I think I could qualify as a candidate for that... Usually spirits are what I specialize in. I look forward to a time when I can specialize in them again.

Hopefully I can spin his Zorro mask a few centimeters, and really put on a show.

Ambiguity intended.

I don't like the way the make monsters seem cool . . . I do liek the way they make being prepared and able to defend yourself cool.
