• Daughter's safe.( I am still going on the warpath soon)

My daughter is here and safe, I've been with her for the last day or so. I'll post more when I get some sleep. Celeste I hope you won't be offended if I get Khavik before you. he was involved with my daughters vanishing.

Khavik, again?

I am still hunting him after his escape from the DC area. Looks like either he is preparing a trap, or he has forgotten the subtlety that has kept him safe from hunters thusfar. I am not counting on the latter. Best of luck to you in your hunt, perhaps with two of us closing from different directions, we may be able to preasure him into making a mistake.

Yea, but it has to be coordinated.

Otherwise he may pick a few of us off, one by one. Maybe not personally but he seems to be quite able of organising some nasty traps.

Well Shadow and I went into the realm my daughter was trapped in, we proceded with all the stealth we could muster through our various means. I went with minimal magic agmentation to sneak along, I did not want to risk smething catching the scent of the magic. I also noticed my first trip in was a very big delusion as far as events go. I could see where things could get confusing quickly in reality and dream. We had a few run ins with the Children, easily avoided conflict with some very bright lights and some more sneaking about. We ended up in combat with a group of goblins, very nasty little critters. The fight was more of a anoyance than a real problem, there where only a half dozen of them. Between my spells and that vodoo Shadow does the fight was very short and very one sided.

We spent what felt like hoursd seaching, I spun with a spell ready when Skullcrusher informed me that something was coming up behind us. Shadow had to step up fast to stop me. I almost tried to toast Tabitha and Rom, I apologized and had a few choice words for that damned mace. Shadow made proper introductions and we stopped for a break to do a plan revision. I was able to track my girl by my magic and we had been chaseing it, unfortunatly we had to back track a few times due to dead ends. Tabitha was most helpful with information and offered to help us get my daughter back. Seems she and Rom know a few places that children are taken and held before going into the Realm of Nightmares, this changes them in a day to resemble the Children. In both boady and spirit they are twisted.

As Michael already said I went and helped him get his Daughter back. Actually we found not only his Daughter but two other kids as well.
Oh a little clarification, I never got around to it on my posts on Bert's and my little misadventure these things the monsters we faced then and again just recently call them selves "The Children", also as Michael informed they used to be human.
It seems that if a human that is caught there during the Day time they will tranform into a monster, however the warping of ones heart, mind and soul is something done on a more personel level.
This is why Michael's daughter and the others we found were being held where they were. As near as I can figure they were being held in an Astral Domain, attached but still seperate from the realm of Nightmares. Places like this were made so the Children can Quote "play with their new toys longer before they are warped." At least that was how Tabitha explained it to me.
This is also why Tabitha, Romules, and a few others like them exist. In their cases they were caught there when they were trying to save others. Seeing as they were now kinda stuck there they decided to fight the NightMare King full time. But there are only a few like them compared to all of the NMK's subjects.
Oh the reson Michael said Khavik was involved is that when we found the Kids all of them were very pale, and had bite marks on them. And I recognized the traces of Khavik's Aura attached to theirs, and I kinda shouted about it and what I was going to do to him when I caught him. :oops:

Oh before anyone asks I have the other two kids we found in a hospital under guard, and I am already checking into who they are and where they are from, and looking for their parents. I will let you know how that goes.
Speaking of that I need to go check on somethings, I will try to relate more later, and see if I can get to finishing a few other stories as well.

Well, ideally, if it's a domain in the Dreamstream, you should be able to start manufacturing your own nukes...

It is a bridgeing realm Between our realm and the Dream Stream, and the Astral, and lord knows where else? You can't just think something up there like you could in the Dream Stream. Things seem to be a tad more stable there than in the Dream Stream.
Again this is how it was explained to me?
Bert They would be willing to take any help they can get. A nuke would not be a good Idea, nor would trying to burn the entire place. As I said already and we have already seen this place is connected to our reality very closely. So setting off a nuke or starting a fire like Ron suggested, well I tend to think either would cause some kind of an effect here as well. I couldn't say what kind of reaction but I don't think it would be anything good.

Sounds like something a bit more "discretionary" is required. I will assist as soon as I can. I fear that this has more to do with Khavik than we know.

In this realm, does one appear as an avatar or in the flesh?
The things there are nightmares made manifest are they not?

I plan on going back to purge some of the things in there Ron, I do not tolerate things going after my child. Personally I want to "talk" to the Nightmare King, I belive he needs to understand what he is getting into with Khavik.
